This church is a part of Franciscan monastery. It was built between 1712 and 1721 in baroque style. It has a valuable illusionist fresque representing the Assumption of Blessed Virgin Mary painted by Slovenian Franjo Jelovšek in 1752.

You will find this monument right in front of the entrance to the Samobor Museum. Ivica Sudnik is its founder, photografer and cultural worker. He shot numerous photos of Samobor and surroundings, and wrote a lot of articles, prose, historical insights about Samobor.

The grave of Julijana Cantilly, popular Samobor muse, silent suffering of the famous poet Stanko Vraz. His book of love verses "Dulabije" inspired with his love for Julijana, is an important part of Croatian Illyrian poetry.

The "first Samobor vacation house", Villa Wagner is located across the Franciscan monastery and it is surrounded by a sequoia park. Wagner came in Samobor in 1870. as a retired senior officer after serving in the Military Region.

The monument to victims of the Homeland War dominates on the central part of the park. A memorial wall, with the names of 53 killed soldiers in the Homeland War from the areas of Samobor and Sveta Nedelja, starts from the central monument.

In front of the church of St. Anastasia, the statue of the Mother of God is set in memory of those killed in the First World War.

The church has been mentioned for the first time in 1536 in gothic style, and later on has been renewed and has got baroque elements. The main altare of the church has been dedicated to St. Michael.

The chapel of St. Ana has been mentioned for the first time in 1759. It was sang in many songs. It is classified in the second category of monumental values.

Samoborček used to be an old railway between Zagreb and Samobor. It ran from 1901 till 1979. "Silver arrow" was the name of the passenger train. This is the monument dedicated to the Silver arrow.
