April 19, 2022 Nicolette Lion

San Diego embodies laid-back California culture, complete with a Boardwalk, surfing communities, and outstanding Mexican food. Breathe in the fresh ocean air at Sunset Cliffs Natural Park, then gobble down a fresh fish taco at a La Jolla seafood joint. The naval aircrafts at the USS Midway Museum will have you standing at attention. A free Sunday concert at the Spreckels Organ Pavilion is the perfect way to unwind after a Saturday night bar-hop in the thumping Gaslamp Quarter.

Sail Stars & Stripes

Public and private 3 hour sails aboard Stars & Stripes USA-11, the authentic America's Cup racing yacht sailed by Dennis Conner in 1992. Take the helm, grind the winches, or just hang on as we zip around San Diego Bay at twice the speed of the average sailboat. A truly unique and memorable experience. Soft drinks and water are included. A crew member will be taking complimentary photos & videos of all the action on board as well as the sights of San Diego Bay. After the sail, complimentary refreshments are served while viewing the days activities on our flat screen TV. The photos & videos will then be posted on Google Web Albums for free access and use. The total cost (no additional taxes or fees) of $125 for adults & $75 for children (5-18) is the best value and most exciting venue on San Diego Bay. Private charters available for as little as $1,500. Located at the Kona Kai Resort & Marina with free street parking and complimentary valet service.

Fun Cat Sailing Catamaran Adventures

Daily sailing adventures aboard 2 beautiful ocean going large sailing catamarans. Help sail, or just relax on an afternoon whale watching (seasonal), sunset cruise, or on one of our sailing/sea kayaking combo tours. Our Captains are experienced and friendly, but our catamarans are really the stars of the show. My 1st catamaran "Tigress" is spacious and comfortable, and carries our sea kayaks for our combo tours. My 2nd catamaran "Wind Drum" is the Ferrari of the sailing charters. Very fast, exciting and also comfortable. You can charter one of our catamarans privately, or join in, and pay per person. Small groups insure that our tours are fun and informal. After you come aboard, you will feel like a friend going for a sail with friends. We are very non commercial/touristy, and there are no phone #s or signs on our boats. We focus on quality, not quantity. We are of course Coast Guard licensed Captains with over 28 years experience taking San Diego guests out on the ocean. Catamarans are more fun.
