What can I say? After 11 years of visits, still my favorite place in the world to taste wine. The owner, Stefano, is passionate about the wines and about life, and incorporates both storytelling and philosophy into his tastings. If you are in Panzano, walk up the hill and visit him. You won't be disappointed!

The Cellar door store with tasting room of IL PALAGIO di PANZANO is a special place. Here you can just show up and taste! Here you will find out who we are, what and how we produce our products. The tasting room is in the very centre of the town of Panzano in Via Chiantigiana 10, with a stunning view over the Conca d'Oro valley. WINEYR EXPERIENCES : these can be booked directly by our tasting room in town, calling or sending an email. Cellar visit with tasting available only from Monday to Friday.
Agricola Azienda Il Palagio in Panzano is one of the best experiences you can have for the beauty of the golden land and vineyards of Chianti. The hospitality, food and wine of the vineyard are first class. Monia and Franco are a wonderful couple who are committed to maintaining the best of the history of Tuscany while blending new ways of cooking and making wine. We have been vacationing here for twenty years and have sent many families here for holidays. All have fallen in love with Il Palagio and many have returned.. In the past two years Il Palagio added a chef Enza to cook breakfast lunch and dinners. I had the pleasure of being treated to several of her dishes. They were so good I am coming back this summer to take cooking classes from Enza. Agricola Azienda Il Palagio in Panzano should be on your bucket list.

Pruneti introduces its Oil Tasting Room, soul and heart of innovation that Pruneti brings from Chianti Classico to World Market. With the Oil Tasting Room we exceed the simple tasting experience introducing a new age, where the “Pruneti Extraordinary-Experience” turns into a journey in the augmented reality of the oil Universe. The Pruneti Extra-ordinary Experience goes back a long way – more than four generations ago – and like a time machine takes us to the very near and contemporary future. A “never ending story” goes not only over the time, but also over the space, it comes out of Frantoio Pruneti and the Oil Tasting Room’s borders and it’s ready to conquer an always growing Pruneti Lovers Community.
Beautiful new olive oil tasting room in the heart of Greve. Chianti is known for its wine but the Pruneti family now strives to educate the beauty of olive oil. Located next to the bus stop which we took from Florence. Super easy to get to. We did a guided olive oil tasting, we tried 9 olive oil ranging from fruity to spicy, from blended to single varieties. aromas of fresh cut grass to tomatoes! We then did the tasting with food, and even a couple Chianti Classico to pair. All the food prepared in their own kitchen. Learning about extra virgin olive oil is just as fun as learning about wine! Extremely interesting experience! Highly recommend.

Ca' di Pesa is centrally located in Chianti Classico, close to the town of Panzano - at the centre of a natural basin that is referred to as the Conca d'Oro (or golden hollow), due to its rich soil, its exposure to the sun, and the excellent wines that are made there.
We visited Ca di Pesa last week and had an absolutely incredible time! This boutique winery is very special and most definitely worth the trip. Diego, the winemaker himself, was extremely personable, delightful and hospitable. He first gave the three of us a tour of their beautiful property which is extremely picturesque, surrounded by rolling hills covered with grape vines almost as far as the eye can see. We then entered into the cellar where we learned a bit about their casks and fermentation process. Following, we got to the tasting in a charmingly rustic building where delicious local cheese and salumi were served. All the wines were wonderful... but we especially loved the Super Tuscan!! The education continued as we learned about Diego's winemaking techniques and got a better understanding about how different grapes thrive in different climates from each other. We *loved* visiting Ca di Pesa and hope to return one day as guests in their gorgeous villa!! Ciao Diego!

No photograph or article, however beautiful or well written, will ever be able to convey the full charm of this age-old village, with its vineyards, woods and olive groves. The best way to discover it is to follow the example of the ancient Romans and the thousands of pilgrims who have passed through it over the centuries, ascending from the Greve valley to the natural terrace of Lamole that overlooks the whole of the Chianti Classico zone. You can choose between two engaging tours that will introduce you to this stunning region. Share the history and explore the authentic winemaking vocation of Lamole di Lamole. Begin your tour in the historical vineyard, visit the winery, and finish at the Salotto di Lamole and our Bistrot for excellent food and wine samplings.

Savignola Paolina is a historic winery in the heart of Chianti Classico, one of the pioneers of this unique famous region. Since more than 100 years, we produce a native wine known for its high standards of quality and elegance.
Wonderful tour lead by a very knowledgeable employee and delicious wines and lunch. A perfect Tuscan day! We made the reservation at the Greve information center - the worker there was very helpful!!

Vignamaggio reached its maximum glory around the middle of the XVII century and belonged to the Gherardini family until the 1886. After being owned by the family of Gherardini it was purchased in 1925 by Countess Elena Sanminiatelli; her family restored the Italian gardens and the Villa. Since 1998 the new owners have started the restructuring of the vineyards and cellars, further improving the quality levels of the farm products.
We booked a winery tour and tasting . Breathtaking views. Excellent service. Tasting had delicious charcuterie. We eyeballed our neighboring tables as lunch looked delicious! Buy the wine at the wine shop as the selection is excellent or buy from their store in Greve. We could not find what we were looking for at their hotel in Panzano, and our stay at that hotel was excellent.
