Cornwall is the extreme southwestern peninsula of England. It has the longest stretch of continuous coastline in Britain and it is one of the sunniest areas in the UK. With picturesque villages, Celtic ruins, light blue waters, gardens and parks and unique architecture it certainly is among the most scenic areas of England. Home of many events and festivals and the land of Cornish pasty, it is definitely worth visiting.

We decided on the St Michaels for my partners birthday and the staff were so accommodating! Despite the Saunas and steam rooms being out of use, there were plenty of other things for us to use, including the outdoor hot tub and the experience showers! All the staff also wished my partner a happy birthday which I felt was a lovey touch. I’d like to say a massive thank you too Jo, Rachel and Rowenna as well for making the spa feel as safe as possible with the current situations!

We, a group of five friends, visited on a particularly rainy day in November to attend their Aqua Splash session. The reception lady was welcoming and informative. We were charged £4.60 each for the hour. This pool is a fun pool with a irregular shape and depths ranging from zero to 1.6m and the water was warmer the a usual swimming pool. They have a wave machine, a river run and a flume ride each of which are opened in turn twice during the hour. It was really great fun, but not much good if you wanted a real swim. There were several attentive lifeguards and jaccusis if you wanted them. We all had a great time and will be back again. PS they don't permit photographs or video inside.
