Queenstown Golf Club

Reviewed By Edlileung - Hong Kong, China

Being a golfer, would like to testify different courses over the world. This time, when I arrived Queenstown, I noticed that course was situated on a peninsula oversee by the Queenstown. The course was challenging and properly maintained. Green tiny with treelines obstructing on some bad lines. Greenlee was reasonable, 100 NZ for visitors with 50% off for the second round within a week. Views were stunning as surrounded by the mountains. Gorgeous view in Autumn fall or Winter. Love this course and if chances arises, come back again.

Arrowtown Golf Course

Reviewed By MartinB286 - Auckland, New Zealand

What a fabulous experience! The course is a real challenge with rocky outcrops littering narrow fairways and postage stamp greens. I play off an 8 handicap and shot 89. The greens are firm and you do need to put the ball in the right place. A great short game is certainly a must around here. The back 9 is the easier of the two nines and the most scenic too. The views though are breathtaking and are worth coming here alone. Everyone at the golf club was so friendly especially those working in the kitchen who went the extra mile to accommodate my gluten free diet. The lovely lady in the kitchen even came out to see if my food was ok which was a nice touch. All in all, this is well worth a visit for any level of golfer. It is easy to see why Arrowtown GC make the Top 10 list of NZ's golf courses and this certainly would be in my top 5 after 40 years of playing golf.

Wanaka Golf Club

Reviewed By T6217XIpaulb - Melbourne, Australia

The 18 hole Wanaka golf course has great views of Lake Wanaka on the front nine holes then mountain views on the back nine. For visitors to the area, there are hire clubs available and visitor green fee rates. The golf course is difficult when off the fairways as the grass can be quite thick making locating balls and playing tough. Wanaka golf course is well worth a round for all levels of ability if visiting Wanaka.
