Stunning golf course established in 1926 with picturesque views of loch and surrounding countryside. Well maintained course and excellent food served in clubhouse. Only 4 miles from M74, Carlisle to Glasgow Road. A friendly welcome awaits you.

This course is challenging due to the hills and uneven fairways but the picturesque views towards the beaches and sea excuse this. It's very beautiful here and an exhilarating experience standing on a tee box and seeing for miles around. We have visited in the summer and autumn and have not been disappointed. We stayed in the caravan situated on the course itself just by the clubhouse which is very comfortable with outstanding views of both the course and the stunning coastline. I would highly recommend a visit and if possible a stay here.

Great course, with great views out over the hills and the solway. Really warm welcome, which I cannot say about every course in the Dumfries area unfortunately.

I played here yesterday with a friend on a beautiful summers day. A light wind blowing. Arrive at the very well appointed clubhouse which has excellent facilities. Easy check in with the friendly starter. Noted well stocked but small pro shop. The course was in superb condition all round. Extremely well kept. Holes were quite challenging. The signature hole is well with highlighting too. If you love links golf you’re in heaven here. Our match was like the Duel in the Sun between Nicklaus and Watson. I went 3 down twice but pulled it back to all square after 17. A half on the 18th ended it. A truly awesome game here today. Had a meal in the restaurant. Very well priced and excellent quality. Well stocked bar and friendly staff. All in I highly rate a visit here.
