Love this place! We found it in 2009 and had returned in 2011, 2012 and 2015. We intentionally sought it out on our visit this year and we delighted to see Sergio is transitioning to his son Sergio Jr!! Love the new location a bit closer to the market square and ferry docks, also. Jr was able to help us with a beautiful silver pendant and onyx stone. Already exceptional quality, fantastic service and very fair prices. Keep it up - was great to see you again!

Wonderful find in the Caracol Mall. Worth pushing thru the overbearing store owners for other Mexican souvenirs. Tere was wonderful in helping us understand what pieces were “hecho in Mexico”. She was patient and knowledgeable as we tried on many pieces. Muchas Gracias!

I walked into Miguel’s shop and just started looking around. He waited patiently as I walked around the store and as soon as we started talking I knew I was in for a treat. He was so kind and his passion for working with silver was evident. He is extremely talented and will tell you how each piece is made and how certain designs were improved by his grandfather and his father. You really must stop in his shop. It was just such a delight to talk to him. It’s not cheap jewelry because it is pure silver and handcrafted but the prices are fair ($50 USD for earrings and $250usd for the necklace) I thought I had just walked in to look but I walked out with earrings and an intricately crafted necklace. I cannot recommend this place enough. Please stop by and support a local silversmith.

Alicia is a gem! I went to B & G with the very high hope that I could have a pair of shoes made for my two differently-sized feet. I provided a photo, Alicia took my measurements, and within a week, she proceeded to make a perfect pair of shoes for me. They are gorgeous and comfortable. Great little shop for Mexican jewelry! Every piece is outstandingly beautiful and unique. The sales rep Monica was beyond patient and kind. She allowed me to try on things without being pushy. I definitely would recommend her. I made several purchases when she was in the store. Unfortunately one of those days someone else was in I think his name was Gregorio. He was rather rude and patronizing when answering one of my questions. I left the store in a bad mood and decided to return when he wasn’t there. Don’t let this stop you as Monica is a gem amongst the gems!

On the way to the island I lost one of my favorite earrings (a silver and shell round earring originally purchased in Playa), I reached out for help finding a match and Donato Mendoza from Nudo Marineri offered to custom make the piece for me. Ultimately I asked him to turn the remaining earring into a necklace pendant and create a matching set of earrings. The results were beautiful!! The price was outstanding! In the photo below the necklace pendant was the earring I left with him and he created this set from it. ❤️❤️❤️
