We've heard Toronto described as "New York City run by the Swiss," and it's true—you can find world-class theater, shopping and restaurants here, but the sidewalks are clean and the people are friendly. The best place to start is literally at the top—the CN Tower, the tallest freestanding structure in the Western Hemisphere.

I'm not even a Harry Potter fan, nor have I watched the movies. But this store is like a showroom! It felt like I was in a museum. There is someone in my life who is a big Harry Potter fan, so I was able to get some birthday and Christmas shopping done here. But I found myself buying non-Harry Potter items for myself. I loved the duck-footed picture frames! I also really liked the novelty dish towels. My advice is to peruse their online shop first before you go there in person. Otherwise you get 'lost' looking at all the fascinating items.

This is no ordinary bookstore, thanks to its selection of rare and unusual volumes (published pre-1980) and its one-of-a-kind Bibliomat, the world's first book vending machine.
This is such a lovely and unique used book shop! You’ll find a vast selection of vintage treasures in there! We saw some books from the 1800’s and to me, that is more than worth the visit! The biblio-matic is really fun as well. It’s $3 per person, you can only do it once (a day, I believe) and you get a randomized book. If you love books, I highly recommend stopping by here and picking something up!

I remember visiting CB when I was a kid with my dad. He was my first foodie inspiration and cheese lover. Years later I am just a inspired as I was as a child. The service was fantastic! A greeting with a smile from every staff you encountered. The knowledge and explanation of every product was executed timely and professionally. A high standard of costumer service was the norm. Some things never change. The vast amount of beautiful products awakened my sleeping culinary memoirs. Some of the best if the best. I found high quality products from special vacations we had. A gorgeously cured sausage from France we had on a visit in Mach last year. I was ecstatic to find it. We picked up several other items and headed to to bakery, my husbands candy area. We purchased a cake and sadly had to leave. Honestly I could have spent the entire day enjoying so many wonderful finds. Yes and great pic of one of our mentors, and a second wonderful memory.
