Family run business with experience in confectionary. We stock the very best chocolates that France, Belgium and Bala have to offer plus sweets, ice creams and gifts.
We visited here in June 2018 and were amazed at the variety of chocolates! There were lots of animal shaped chocolates and we struggled to choose which ones to buy as they all looked so good. They also tasted as good as they looked. The gentleman who was working was chatty and told us about the various products they made. Lovely little shop to visit whilst in Bala.

What can I say about this wonderful shop that I found in Harlech. I’ve been visiting the area for over 25 years and came across this little haven last year. I have since bought all of my toiletries from Snowdonia Soaps, the shampoo and conditioner bars have made my hair the healthiest it has ever been, the whipped soap is a must and all the bath products are fantastic! Oh and the face soap, cleanser, serum and oil are all amazing! I feel like I’m having a pamper session every day! As you can see from my photos I have quite a haul. I just can’t get enough of these fantastic products! Try it, you will not look back! #supportsmallbuisness

Quality hand-made art and crafts from local makers in and around the Snowdonia National Park. A retail gallery in Ty Siamas music venue, Dolgellau.
Great shop for quality handcrafted local items, helpful staff (artists take turns to man the shop). Large variety of products too. You can easily miss it as it's under the arches where the service buses congregate!

Welsh Drink Specialist. We have one of the widest range of welsh drinks, including beers, ciders, wines and spirits - and many of them are on taste. Come and sample a few if you are taking out (we sell draft beer by the litre) or stay a while and and enjoy a quiet 2/3rd of a pint or local G&T in our tap room. Oh and we also do locally roasted coffee :-)
Down from Scotland with friends this place is a hidden gem lost of great beers and small sit in area lovely staff and great selection of craft beer and cider

After driving around we decided to stop off for some dinner in Betwsy-co-ed but 1st found a little market with everything in the window & inside, we were greeted by a lady who asked us to follow the one way system in her shop but not before waiting outside so as not to get to close to anyone else, shop was full but clean, staff were polite but very helpful. If ever you get up there don’t forget to pay this shop a visit for all the jams, pasta, chutneys, breads, sweets, coffee, teas & cakes. Plus there a nice little park to walk around.

Great shop where the staff are extremely helpful in an unobtrusive way. Bought a few gifts for Christmas!

Set in the beautiful Mawddach Valley, Meirion Mill lies in gorgeous spacious grounds with an imposing forest backdrop, the Mill itself is part Mill/Railway museum, Giftshop, Garden center, Cafe with dog friendly Gardens, The shop prices are way too high for the average pocket & in stark contrast to the cafe, where you can get a refreshing cuppa and something very tasty to eat at a reasonable price, there is also a lovely dog friendly seating area at the rear.

We are a family run business just a stone's throw away from Harlech Castle. We specialise in Welsh gifts and souvenirs and have something for everyone. We have gifts to suit every pocket, beautifully hand carved Welsh lovespoons, local Welsh slate, Welsh clothing, Celtic jewellery and much more, we are also stockists of Papo figures and castles. Not forgetting dragons in all shapes and sizes!
Hubby and I called in here to find as many sheep gifts as we could for our daughter who is mad about them. The lady was extremely friendly and very helpful. We were allowed to take our two greyhounds into the shops well. When we returned home, I broke one of the gifts so I called the shop and hopefully a replacement will be on its way to me soon. I can’t praise the lady in the shop enough, both the visit and the phone call she was really helpful and accommodating.
