Here you will find two floors packed with volumes of enduring value, including familiar favourites, contemporary fiction, guides, books of local interest, and non-fiction titles covering everything from outer space to inner peace. We also have marine charts, art cards, prints, hand-crafted bags, and many other unique and intriguing items.We buy books every Thursday from 10am - Noon. Spring, Summer & Fall.

Ulrieke Benner is a textile artist and designer. She works with wool and silk to produce vibrantly colored one-of-a-kind clothing and art. She designs her wearable and wall art in her oceanview studio in sunny Vesuvius on Salt Spring Island, British Columbia. The public is welcome at her gallery, which is part of Salt Spring’s Studio Tour, studio #15. Ulrieke's studio and gallery are open most days, or by appointment.

We create fine jewelry and we love to reflect on nature in our creations of three gold colours, silver and platinum. Based on decades of knowledge in goldsmithing, we choose fine gemstones as well as Canadian and ethically sourced international diamonds. ArtCraft is the longest running fine arts and crafts shows in BC and the home to the work of over 100 fine artists and craftspeople, representing the very best of Salt Spring and the Gulf Islands. On show is everything imaginable from fine oil paintings, ceramics, woodwork, jewelry, basketry, fibre arts to handmade soaps.Located in downtown Ganges, in historic Mahon hall, it is one of the "must see" attractions of any visit to Salt Spring.

We are a small, but eclectic clothing and gift store located just steps from the famous Saturday Market. What started as a children's clothing boutique has evolved into a place to find ethically produced items for infants, toddlers, kids, and teens. We also carry a large selection of custom printed tourist items such as mugs, water bottles, t-shirts, puzzles, and more. Custom printing is available on site while you wait MOST weekends, or at our off-site studio with a 24-48 hour turn around time. We carry many basics for kids as well as lots of fun and funky items. We have a few locally produced lines in store, and proudly display a few other talented artist's works which are available direct from their individual studios. Our fish tank is always a big hit with the kids, which is at their level. The kids will be enthralled while the adults shop! Our store is family owned/operated with everyone involved in some way. The kids model and help in the store, Carolyn is in the store 4-5 days a week and does most of the ordering and runs the custom printing end of things. Ed is the payment and handy-man and Johanna keeps the books up to date and also works occasionally during the summers. We have also welcomed a lovely local Mom into our family 2-3 days a week which gives Carolyn a chance to get creative at home in the new studio!
