The Sussex Guild Shop & Gallery, stands in Southover Grange, an imposing Elizabethan house overlooking Southover Grange Gardens. The Shop & Gallery is run as a cooperative with members taking it in turn to be on duty. There is a wide variety of spectacular contemporary work on show - including ceramics, furniture, glass, jewellery, metalwork, printmaking, textiles and woodwork. The very high standards of design, innovation and craftsmanship required for selection ensure that all items are well-designed and beautifully made. All work is for sale but commissions are accepted too with patrons contacting makers without intermediaries. We also have gift vouchers which make very acceptable presents. Adjacent to the Gallery in the beautiful Southover Grange Gardens, and open during the summer months, is a refreshment's kiosk, providing an excellent selection of sandwiches, drinks and delicious home-made cakes. The Shop & Gallery is open every day (except Christmas Day) from 10am - 5pm.
This is an artist’s cooperative which showcases a wide variety of work in ceramics, jewellery and needlework amongst others. Lovely little glass and ceramic xmas decorations. Beautiful pewter candlesticks and large selection of jewellery in different metals and styles. Truly something for everyone and very reasonably priced. I bought a gorgeous cloisonné enamel pendant made by Linda Connelly.

This is our 13th year in Lewes, and we still love being here! We are a mini department store for the whole family with a mini coffee shop at the back. We are a fun loving, caring team of people who love working together and serving our customers. We work hard to keep the independent spirit of Lewes alive, and focus on being a bricks and mortar shop. We sell well made products we love. Tested only on ourselves rings as true now as back in 2004 when we started as a perfume and toiletries maker. We have a selection of clothing, homeware, accessories, toys, or anything else we might like. Our eating area is at the back of our shop with a little play area for the kids. We serve organic coffee and master blended teas alongside small vegetarian/vegan treats, lunchtime meals and kids menu. We also have a large free-from selection. Prepared in out tiny, one person open kitchen. It can get very busy at times, but hopefully it is appreciated that it is all made to order. We hope to see you soon.
