Willkommen to Cherry Republic! Known as Michigan’s Little Bavaria, this unique town is rich in history and chock full of festivals and cultural celebrations. Cherry Republic is right in the midst of the fun with a storefront in the popular Frankenmuth River Place Shops. We specialize in everything cherry found in the Grand Traverse region, including cherry salsas, chocolate covered cherries, cherry nut mixes, and gift boxes to name a few. Enjoy free samples and complimentary wine tasting.
This was our last stop before leaving Frankenmuth. Next year, it will be our first stop. There were no samples due to COVID-19 restrictions, but that didn’t deter us. We bought what we wanted to “sample.” Upon returning home, I placed an online order because I certainly didn’t buy enough. The order arrived within 2 days (to Ohio). Can’t wait to make another cherry pie. ????

This was my second visit here (see 9-5-18 review), and it's still an interesting shop to browse. My spouse accompanied me this time, and though neither of us smoke, it is an interesting view into an area of life many people enjoy. As before, the staff person was was friendly and informative, as were several of the patrons. And once again, it was an enjoyable experience.

Of course all summer patriot occasions such as Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day are emphasized as their tradition of remembering this occasion 361 days a year open. At present store hours are 10 AM until 7 PM due to this Covio crisis. I will upload on what the leaves are expected to look this week up until about Election Day.
