Jonathan Yun Sculptural Jewelry, Penang is a one of a kind maker of fine bespoke jewelry pieces crafted by award winning jeweler; Jonathan Yun himself. He finds his inspiration from nature. His love for the craft and his ability to sculpt the most intricate pieces have truly made a mark with his various signature pieces, winning over the hearts of all who love and admire his creations.
My friend introduced me to Jonathan Yun years ago when I first visited Penang and I have been a fan since then. I still have the pieces I bought back then. For good quality and unique jewellery, Jonathan Yun is the one to go to in Penang. I always recommend everyone (friends and strangers) to visit him when in Penang. Every time I wear his pieces, I get people admiring them and good comments. Some people have commented that his pieces are not cheap. But if you are looking for something that is of good quality, reasonable value and exquisite, it is worth every cent. I would not say that he is expensive and not affordable. In fact his pieces are priced reasonably. Even if you have no intent to buy, just go and enjoy beautiful creations.

Home decor, lifestyle and gift store located in a 1930's eclectic style shop house. Home to quirky, fun, beautiful and exclusive items! One of a kind in Malaysia and definitely worth the visit. Open daily!
This is a must-visit shop every time we visit Penang. It has arty, tasteful items you don’t find in most shops. It makes me happy, because it makes my wife so happy. If you’re looking for interesting things to decorate your home, or quality gifts to take back for loved ones it is packed to the rafters with great ideas. The staff are patient, knowledgeable and helpful. They will search stockrooms for colour variations of items to suit your taste, or expertly wrap items you are planning to take as gifts. Their Christmas ornament selection is quirky and original. The pricing is not cheap, but the quality makes for good value.

Spark Optics is a shop-in-cafe concept that thinks differently, rebellious by nature, free spirited, independent and out right creative! It also houses unique artisanal, hip and period eyewear brands for those with a hunger for independent thinking. Definitely “indie”, the place where eyewear's are not made for those that settle for ordinary!
W happened upon this quirky shop and what a find it was? Stunningly beautiful and varied sunglasses and spectacles at good prices and really good staff who are open and honest with their opinion. I bought a pair of their signature range of sunnies made of titanium and wood. They are designed in house and light, beautiful and perfect in the glaring sun. Do yourself a favour and keep walking inside after you grab a coffee at the Mugshot cafe.

I just happened to walk by when their designs caught my eye. I didn’t intend to get anything but a few minutes perusing the racks showed me how interesting and varied their designs are. I had excellent service from the staff. Price is reasonable and the clothes are good quality. There is a wide assortment from Kurta and Kurtis, to dresses and intricately brocaded and embroidered work. I will be returning for more items soon
