Not only are their products beautiful, useful and practical the organization itself truly has an immense positive social impacts in the region. They employ hundreds of women from different backgrounds and needs in making their products and thus help support hundreds of families. Shopping their items, you know you will not only have amazing stuff to use and wear but will also directly support the livelihoods of these families. Their shops (Woven) in Lakeside are really nice but it's even better to visit them at their factory just outside Pokhara (45 min walk or quick taxi). You can buy stuff there but even better, you can visit where they make the products to understand even more how it's made and who's making them. Plus their dog is super cute and sometimes its cute puppy is there too. Well worth a visit!

love love pashmina store provide cashmere and pashmina products made of world best luxurious fabric generated from high mountain goats. 100% cashmere scarves, mufflers, caps, sweaters, cardigans, blankets and more. Also can find decorative, antique and gift items like pillow/cushion covers, bags, carpets, silk scarves, yakwool blankets and more.
I really enjoyed shopping at this pashmina store. The clerk was really knowledgable, helpful, and honest regarding all of the options. Stores like this are usually really overwhelming since there are so many choices, but I never felt like I was being pressured to buy something more expensive than I had budgeted for. When I mentioned my price range, I was shown a variety of high-quality pashminas and I didn't feel the same high pressure I did in other similar stores. The prices were fair for the quality and the clerk was open to haggling, but offered such a reasonable initial price there wasn't too much lower to go. I got the impression while I was there that I'd be getting the same great service and help whether I bought something or not, which of course made me more relaxed so I could actually decide on what I wanted. I ended up buying an affordable pashmina that I absolutely love. They also accept credit cards, which was convenient since I had limited cash at the end of my trip.

Chetana is one of several women's handicraft shops in Pokhara. It is located in North Pokhara, next to the Hot and Spicy Burger Corner. I found items here that were not in other shops, and prices tended to be lower. I purchased as gifts a couple of large woolen shawls, with very tight weave in natural colors. The shop also specially made some hemp hats for me from photos that I provided.
