Australia’s third-largest city, Brisbane is the hub of Queensland culture, offering a peek at the past and a glimpse into the future. Visit the historic Windmill and Old Commissariat Store, built by convicts in 1828, or fast-forward to the present (and beyond) with a trip to the new Gallery of Modern Art. Mingle with locals atop Mount Coot-tha, cruise the Brisbane River to South Bank’s sandy beach on the City Cat and make sure to fill the cuteness quota at Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, home to koalas and kangaroos.

I have been shopping with Ian and Jane for years, their knowledge of rocks and jewellery is second to none. I have been to many jewellers around the globe but none have come close to the quality of products and service than this absolute gem of a shop right here in Brisbane. An absolute must to visit if you are in Brisbane.

Sisters Amy and Hannah seek to offer a bespoke tea experience. Tour de Tea offers 54 different varieties of artisanal tea, with its own specific story of place - many drawing upon familiar aspects of Brisbane’s scenery and culture. Its the perfect place to get a souvenir which perfectly captures Brisbane's unique charm. There's also plenty of tea to taste and sip while browsing!
This little tea store is one of a kind. Owned by two sisters from Brisbane, it’s a lovely business and there was so much tea to sample - all of it delicious. I left with two teas as souvenirs from Australia for my relatives overseas - they had beautiful stories which captured modern Australia and are very special! Would very much recommend stopping here for Australiana gifts as they have lovely captions and stories about Australia but also some really yummy local Australian teas.
