From the Winchester Geese to the decapitated head of William Walace, the trip left me with a lasting impression and I will never think of London in the same way again. Maria, with her passion and intrigue really made the experience very enjoyable and interesting. I look forward to revisit these places once they reopen.

Oxford at nightfall...The crowds are dispersing, and the deserted, gloomy streets await us. The Oxford Ghost Tour will lead you away from the bustle and noise of central Oxford into the eeriest parts of the city, the domain of demons, dark deeds, the Devil, and death. All the accounts are based on documented events. They feature not only paranormal manifestations, but also gruesome executions and heart-rending deaths, some from eye witness testimony. You will hear spine-chilling stories from the city's bloody past and of the spirit entities it has left behind. You will see the locations where the apparitions have revealed themselves, and may do again. You might sense their presence, feel their touch, hear their groaning, smell their putrefaction.

I tailor each tour to the individual interests of the tourists in the group. I am fascinated by Cambridge's history and its magnificent sights, and have in-depth knowledge of its past and present. I can draw on my special expertise in the history of science, mathematics, and computing in Cambridge. My approach is thorough yet not too serious, sometimes light-hearted and always considerate. We shall explore the very heart of Cambridge, where new and old look out at us from every nook and cranny – hear stories of mediaeval strife and riots, struggles and labours of many a generation of students and scholars, and triumphs of the human thought. On our way, we shall discuss how ideas and life itself have changed over centuries, and what today’s Cambridge is like – both the City and the University.

Inclusions: Advice on the tourists' further stay in the city after the tour, e.g. what to do, where to eat.

Exclusions: Admission fees to colleges, if any

I was a little bit skeptical of whether or not it would live up to the hype or would be worth the walk, but it definitely lived up to expectations. We went early in the morning and it was already a little crowded. It took us about 2 hours to walk the entire thing. I will say that we got very lost on the one section between Walmgate Bar and Mickelgate Bar. I recommend bringing a copy of the map with you as google maps will steer you wrong.
