ONSITE BICYCLE RENTALS on one of British Columbia’s wonders. Experience a part of the historical Kettle Valley Railway route built between 1912-1914. This well-established, interactive 24km trail is highlighted by 2 tunnels and 18 trestles. It offers spectacular views of Myra Canyon and Okanagan Lake. The track is located at an elevation of 1.260 meters, it is relatively flat and can be cycled within 4 hours. We rent new, branded comfort bicycles in sizes for adults and children, tandems and tag-alongs or child trailers to pull the little ones. Rental times May-October: 9am-1pm, 1:30-5:30pm and evening rentals Fridays/Saturdays in July/August from 5-8pm. We offer ½ day guided/self-guided tours in the Myra Canyon or full day self-guided tours to Penticton. Bike and Wine tours are also available; bike the Myra Canyon or Okanagan Rail Trail in the morning and visit 4-5 wineries in Kelowna or Lake Country in the afternoon Pick-up/drop off transportation is included (Kelowna/West Kelowna)
We rented bikes for four hours to do the 24 km Myra Canyon trail. The online reservation system was easy, and the bikes were tagged and ready for us when we got there. The staff at check in and drop off were helpful, explaining the gears and the trail etiquette. The trail itself was fantastic. Flat and wide, over 18 trestles and through 2 tunnels. There can be some waiting at the trestles as they are one-way - if someone is on them coming towards you, you wait until they have crossed before you start across. I'd recommend coming in the morning, as it gets busy and there is more waiting in the afternoon, even on a weekday. We would definitely do this trail and rent bikes from this company again.
