Welcome to Millesgården - an oasis just 15 minutes from downtown Stockholm. Millesgården is an artist home, a vast sculpture park with flower beds and fountains, art gallery, restaurant, antique collection and a museum shop.
Awsome and really nice place to visit outside Stockholm on a spring day as well as summer day Well worth the 150sek admisson fee to enter. And to not only the out door statues, you have inside the art gallery as well. If you are hungry of just want some cofee or tea there is a smaller restaurant with easier food.

We came by this place by accident walking in the park. Beautiful place, great lunch and great sandwiches. The bakery sells delicious baking goods and the store is a fantasy for people who loves gardening. We had wonderful weather and that gave us the possibility to roam the place. If you like gardening, definitely a place to stop by

Welcome to the Bergius Botanic Garden. Ideally situated at Brunnsviken, an inlet of the Baltic Sea, the garden is part of the city’s national park, protected by law to preserve natural and cultural values for the future. The primary objective of the Bergius Botanic Garden is to support teaching and research about plant diversity, but the garden is also a recreational spot and a source of botanical knowledge for all its visitors. With a history stretching back to the 18th century, the garden is today owned and managed by the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences and Stockholm University.
Beautiful gardens with all types of trees and plants clearly marked. Flower store Plantagen just next door and a really nice cafe too with coffee, cakes, sandwiches and a few hot dishes for lunch. Next to the water, a great place to just walk around. Free entry.

This indoor tropical nature preserve provides a nice escape from the cold. There are more than 700 types of butterflies in a 3,000-square-meter indoor habitat, as well as many different plants and animals.
I was here at the beginning of July and must have been awfully lucky since the place was packed with butterflies. None of them landed on me (boohoo!) but my friend got one on her leg. And man, was it humid or what!! We also saw a pair of quails walking about; also some tiny toads were seen. The fish room had one shark and some other interesting fishies in it and was a lot cooler in temperature than the jungle with them butterflies, Gift shop was mostly for kids. Kind of boring café with not a lot to choose from so we went elsewhere,
