The MiniPolis is not a playhouse, rather an interactive and creative city for children: a real and lifelike environment tailored for children, where “adult” things and services, which are otherwise unavailable for them are , can be tried (they may be customers or sellers in a supermarket, doctors in a clinic, hair-dressers in a beauty saloon) it means: “ a place where you can be adult, too”.

We really liked this cafe because there were so many cats & you could walk around freely to pet them; play with them or take photos. You cannot pick up the cats. The cats were pretty friendly & allowed you to pet them. Some even sat on the tables or chairs. I’ve been to a few other cat cafes in Europe & this is the best one I’ve been to so far. There is no admission charge or time limit. The coconut hot chocolate.was delicious as well.

The Cat Cafe is open again in Damjanich Street! We offer you coffee specialities, cold limonades and italian sweets in the company of beautiful and gorgeous cats. We have beers and hungarian wines as well.
Had a great time at the cat cafe, came here after visiting the basilica 5 minutes away. We were lucky enough to be seated straight away as we clearly came when it was quieter (around 11am) but by 11.45 people were being asked to wait outside as the tables were all full, so I advise either reserving a table or coming early. When you enter you are given a set of rules to read which is for the cats benefit so they are not stressed out by over curious visitors. You are allowed to stroke and play with the cats but mustn’t pick them up or disturb them if they are sleeping. They have 14 cats in all so there are always some awake too play with. They happily come over to your table and sit with you. We really liked it here and was a nice place to spend a last couple of hours in Budapest. The drinks are very reasonably priced so we stayed and had a couple of drinks each. They have a little tip box at the counter which we dropped some change into as they don’t add a service charge onto the bill like most other places. Would definitely go back!

The venue is an apartment located on the Buda side under Margit korut 56, within 3 minutes from Mammut shopping centre. At first sight, just another room, but in fact, it is a crime scene full of clues. Connect the dots and unravel the mistery.
