The Hawaiian island of Oahu is a surfer’s paradise, with swelling waves that can reach epic heights. No wonder, then, that it’s the site of one of the world’s premier competitions, the Triple Crown of Surfing. If hanging ten isn’t your thing, you can still enjoy the beautiful beaches – particularly famous Waikiki Beach in Honolulu. Art connoisseurs will appreciate the annual Hale'iwa Arts Festival, a celebration of local crafts, painting, jewelry, sculpture, dance, and music.

I reviewed this place on Yelp, but more people deserve to know about this great location. I heard about this VR place through one of our family friends, who recommended it to us rather enthusiastically. I was intrigued by this place and what it could offer, so I went with some family and one of my closest friends. The experience offers 3 different tasks, or rather, worlds, which you must pass only with the help and cooperation of your fellow team members. What I enjoyed about this, is that rather than being a competition, this game required teamwork to pass. These three different worlds you have to pass are of varying difficulty, the last one being the most challenging, and rather frightening if you are afraid of heights. I'll try not to give much away, but overall, this VR place is a must go to. Check it out when you have the time, especially with friends or people you'd like to bond with. It was a great team-building exercise. And most importantly, it was major fun.

XD Dark Ride is a 7D interactive movie experience with amazing special effects. Up to eight riders at a time compete for the highest score using laser blasters and battling on-screen enemies. You actually feel the earth-rumbling movement and wind, hear the sounds all around you, and sometimes even jump with fright (or joy!). It’s that thrill you usually feel when riding a roller-coaster.

The creators of Breakout Waikiki are bringing even more adventure to Honolulu with Blade & Timber! Blade & Timber offers 10 lanes of axe throwing (lessons included!) with the ability to host groups of all sizes. We offer a one-of-a-kind, interactive experience for anyone 10 and up. We are conveniently located in the historic Kaka’ako Neighborhood.
It was expensive but it was worth it. We did a private lane (for my boyfriends birthday) and it was just the 2 of us. Alex was our guide and showed us how to properly throw and safety tips along the way and through out your experience they show you ‘trick shots’. When he would go off and do his own thing or help other customers he’d keep an eye out on us (as well as others) and throw in tidbits here and there to help us improve our throwing. In terms of food they only have basic snacks and drinks but it’s enough to get you by and something to munch on. I hit a bullseye ???? once with an underhand throw lol I was quite proud of myself haha They have games on the tables that people can do. My and my boyfriend did our own game (10 rounds and tallying up the score). They also have a photobooth that creates a gif which you can text or email to yourself (no limit on how many you take). Overall it was good fun and I’d recommend it. That one hour and 30 minutes goes by really fast so the more people you have, the less chances you’ll get to throw.

A fun (but at eight bucks a head, not cheap, but still worth it for the novelty) group activity to do in Lahaina.
We had so much fun playing mini-golf at this little place. The Glow Putt is so cool, it is something a little different than your average mini-golf experience. The tickets are quite well priced. I'd come here again.

The hotel tour was really informative and interesting. It covered the entire history of the hotel. The lady running the tour was awesome.
