At Waco Escape Rooms we build rooms around a story or theme and invite you to test your wits against the challenging clues, perplexing puzzles, and maddening mysteries embedded in the rooms. Be warned, you might get addicted to the thrill of the hunt! Once you escape a Waco Escape Room, unlocking a door will never feel the same again!
I went with my husband, brother, and sister in law, and we had the best time! We did the Code Breaker room, and it was just the four of us. We love puzzles, and this one did not disappoint. Hard enough to keep us on our toes but not so difficult that we felt overwhelmed. The staff was wonderful and helpful. Overall a great experience, and I highly recommend this place for anyone wanting a unique, fun experience!

Well here's why. Doris Miller served in WW2 in the US Navy and was African American. He was told he would get no where in the Navy due to the color of his skin. Doris Miller who was by the way a Waco native was the only US navy personnel to shoot back at the Japanese bombing Pearl Harbor firing a 50 caliber anti aircraft gun which he was not trained to use. It is believed that he downed 1 to 4 Japanese zeros during the attack. for this he was the first African American to receive the Navy Cross. two years later he died when his ship was sunk by a Japanese torpedo. The Navy just announced that the new Aircraft Carrier CVN81 will be named the USS Doris Miller. At the park is a statue of Doris and the same park contains the suspension bridge and Chisholm Trail Statues mentioned in another review. There is also a walking path along the Brazos River through the park
