My 7 year old daughter had such a fabulous evening learning to throw a pot with Alex. He is such a patient and fun teacher who coped admirably with her overflowing enthusiasm. She is thrilled that she made bowls and a cup she will be able to use (once they are finished being fired). Highly recommend this experience and next time I will bring the rest of the family and definitely have a go myself.

From the call to book our slot, through to the safety briefing, the test runs and on to the track, the experience was both fun and exciting. Andrew has a welcoming way and a lovely sense of humour. My 10 year old nephew had the most brilliant time and I have to admit, so did his aunties. The first place trophy went to our nephew who was over the moon - a lovely memory created. Thanks Andrew. Would go visit again and would recommend it.

Clay target shooting ground catering for everyone from complete beginners to world class shots. Over 120 variations of sporting targets plus Skeet, A.B.T. D.T.L. Also able to offer flushes & simulated game drives including full days with breakfasts lunches & Welsh teas,
I experienced the ‘Have a Go’ 25 shot package, as part of a small stag weekend for six, staying in Aberystwyth- about 45min away. Our package involved 5 shots at 5 different stations / scenarios. Despite all of us being total novices, & under the excellent guidance of our instructor Gareth, we all achieved a surprisingly good degree of success during the roughly 90min of our activity. Communication with Richard prior to the day was excellent,- particularly as our group numbers fluctuated in the days leading up to it. Our needs were accommodated perfectly, with even a last minute change (caused by cancelled Six Nations matches) bringing forward our booking by 24hrs. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience. I would heartily recommend it to anyone wanting to ‘have a go’! - and we will look forward to returning in the future. My great thanks go to all concerned at Dovey Valley Shooting Ground!

Waun uchaf clay shooting ground is set near the Henrhyd waterfalls in Coelbren Neath. The water falls were made famous by Batman as they were used in his film. This is a perfect place to enjoy a days clay shooting. We have a great group which already shoot with us but we always welcome more to join in. It does not matter if you can not shoot if you want to learn we can help with instruction lessons
**Highly recommend - an absolute must if visiting the Coelbren area** It’s a weather independent activity - rain or shine it would be fine. Richard was a great instructor and such a nice guy - he gave us directions on route, delivered a comprehensive safety introduction and brief history of the sport and guided us at all times throughout the session. It was our first time shooting and we couldn’t believe how many targets we managed to hit with his demonstrations and top tips. We felt 100% safe during our time at Waun Uchaf Clay shooting and will definitely return in the future with friends.

Roomination is the latest real-life escape room experience in mid-Wales. You and your family and friends are invited to come along and take part in a thrilling team game that’s designed to excite, delight, and entertain. Prepare to be fully immersed in your own adventure as you embark on one of our unique quests. Visit our website to book your place.
I recently visited Roomination with a group of 4 other friends. Having previously been to several escape rooms, I had a rough idea of what was in store for us! The Cursed Galleon included all the usual puzzle solving and padlocks you expect from an escape room, yet still managed to be totally unique with some genius aspects! I can honestly say that it’s my favourite escape room that I’ve done and wish that I could do it all over again! I don’t usually leave reviews, but I feel that Roomination really deserves it, and I will definitely be telling all of my friends to give it a go!
