New Zealand (/njuːˈziːlənd/ ( listen); Māori: Aotearoa [aɔˈtɛaɾɔa]) is an island country in the southwestern Pacific Ocean. The country geographically comprises two main landmasses—the North Island (Te Ika-a-Māui), and the South Island (Te Waipounamu)—and around 600 smaller islands. New Zealand is situated some 1,500 kilometres (900 mi) east of Australia across the Tasman Sea and roughly 1,000 kilometres (600 mi) south of the Pacific island areas of New Caledonia, Fiji, and Tonga. Because of its remoteness, it was one of the last lands to be settled by humans. During its long period of isolation, New Zealand developed a distinct biodiversity of animal, fungal and plant life. The country's varied topography and its sharp mountain peaks, such as the Southern Alps, owe much to the tectonic uplift of land and volcanic eruptions. New Zealand's capital city is Wellington, while its most populous city is Auckland.

Indoor Curling is a lot easier than you may think! Bring your friends and family and come along to the only dedicated indoor curling rink in the Southern Hemisphere! Rink is heated - but have a warm top. Options for all ages/abilities. Lounge/bar - viewing area. Flat shoes (runners) ie :no jandals/sandals/heels. Great fun for all!
This is such a fun activity especially if you are with a group doing the Otago Rail Trail...They give you full instructions and then you can experience a fun game...would highly recommend it especially for groups.

Always worth a stop - a fantastic range of colourful play equipment for all ages from toddler to young adult. It even has workout equipment for adults. The toilet is clean and well-maintained. Hard to drag the kids away!

There are a wide variety of activities for all levels - water fun, climbing, swinging, relaxing, flying fox, sliding, spinning, and so much more. The teens and older take over at night, and seem to have as much fun as the children.

My partner and I went to Supa Karts during the week and loved every minute of it. We were very impressed with the quality of the indoor track. The staff were friendly and accommodating, especially Mitch who took some photos/videos of our time there. The owners Nick and his wife were lovely to chat to and made our day extra special. Thanks again!

Unlike most skate parks you find, Bay Skate does charge you to use it - I believe it was $8 for our son to go in. Would happily take him back again! Great areas for parents to watch their kids, a really large park and areas for different abilities too which is fantastic! Well maintained and cared for - there is no graffiti and I believe you can hire skateboards and scooters from their store too. Fully fenced which offers a great sense of security too. Our son absolutely loved his time there!

What a spectacular ride, we climbed to over 700 metres, with views to Mt Cook and Queenstown. The horses were fantastic, sure footed and responsive, and my grandson who is a complete beginner was safe and confident staying with the guide while we had the opportunity to canter numerous times. Our guide Frenchie was great; relaxed, fun and informative and made sure everyone was safe and comfortable with where we were riding. Deb, the owner, runs a great activity and whether you're hanging out to climb on a horse or just want a great way to see some real New Zealand country I would highly recommend this.
