Downtown Lawrence's only live action escape game. Find the clues, unlock the doors, and solve the puzzles in order to BREAKOUT in 60 minutes or less. From the creators of Breakout KC, the world's top rated escape game.
We held a team building event at Breakout Lawrence and my team had an absolute blast!! The staff was friendly and helpful, and the rooms we did (Y2K and Civil War) were well-organized, challenging and fun at the same time. The attention to detail is incredible compared to some of the other escape rooms I've been to. I would recommend Breakout Lawrence to anyone looking for a fun team event or get-together with friends. The location is great as well with tons of great restaurants and bars just down the street.

Best in class rugby pitches about five minutes outside of town. Some of the best Saturdays include packing a cooler and heading to Westwick for some spectacular rugby. International players, college fans and the best alumni around are always in attendance! There's an intense pride for the rugby club and it shows. Bring the whole family!

Liberty Hall fulfills many roles. It is and event center, a 2 screen motion picture theater, and a live performance space. There is always plenty of beer and wine to enjoy with whatever event is being presented. This is an historical performance space that is still going strong.

South Park in Lawrence is a beautiful community park with a variety of recreational opportunities. The large park is located south of downtown (hence the name) and is split into two parts by Massachusetts Avenue. A large network of paved paths make it convenient for walking to enjoy the various attractions in the park. There is shade throughout provided by the large and numerous trees. The centerpiece of the park is the gazebo and the Roosevelt Fountain and garden in front of the gazebo. The Lawrence Parks & Recreational Admin office is also located in the park. Do not miss the historical information board located at the south end of the park. The park is a prime location for summer festivals, concerts, and movies during the summer. A large number of picnic benches are spread throughout the park. South Park is a very enjoyable park.
