Berlin is an edgy city, from its fashion to its architecture to its charged political history. The Berlin Wall is a sobering reminder of the hyper-charged postwar atmosphere, and yet the graffiti art that now covers its remnants has become symbolic of social progress. Check out the Weltzeituhr (world time) Clock, topped by a model of the solar system, then turn back time by dining at the historic Zur Letzten Instanz, a 16th century restaurant that was frequented by Napoleon and Beethoven.

Urban Challenger is all about exploring the city in a playful way. At our Berlin Kreuzberg Rally people get together, we form teams which then try to complete as many of our urban challenges as possible - because exploring the city is much more fun if you have a mission! We start the Urban Challenger Rally on Sunday at 2 pm at Chocolateria Sünde in Kreuzberg. Make sure to reserve a spot on our website. You will discover many different sides of Kreuzberg with challenges from these categories: Explorer, Foodie, Time Traveler, Nature Lover, Artist & Connector. For the Rally we will use the App "Urban Challenger Rally". Also charge your phones - you'll have to take pictures.
Awesome activity. We had 3 teams, great weather and a lot of fun. We discovered the area, ate, drank, laughed and made tons of pics. Recommended!

It's Comedy. On a Boat. On the Spree. Berlin's most scenic comedy show will brighten up your day and make you laugh. Laughing Spree Comedy is a weekly English comedy show, hosted by Comedian Chris Doering, with an extremely friendly atmosphere and some of Berlin's finest comedians, lots of guest comedians and the occasional first timer. And it's all for free, including compulsory free shots at the door! When? Every Monday Where? The Floating Lounge, Eastern Comfort Hostelboat (by East Side Gallery) When again? Doors open at 8pm, Show starts 8.30pm See you buoys and gulls aboard the ship. Keep on laughing!
I loved the location and atmosphere of this show. It's right next to the iconic East Side Gallery, and the Floating Lounge is an actual boat on the Spree. I loved being able to watch the sunset with a beer in hand in between the two halves of the show. And the show is nice and fast-paced. You get to see a lot of different comedians in a relatively short amount of time. This is a great thing to do before heading out to Friedrichshain bars for the night--the show puts you in a good mood for a good night out.
