The WhirlyDome, Orlando’s newest and perhaps most unique attraction located in the heart of International Drive, introduces Orlando to the world’s first totally mechanized team sport – WhirlyBall. WhirlyBall is best described as a combination of bumper cars, basketball, Jai-alai and hockey. The game is typically played 5-on-5, with players piloting WhirlyBugs (high tech bumper cars) as they use a scoop to pass and shoot a plastic ball at their opponent’s goal while bumping and blocking their way around the court. Games have a referee to enforce the rules, keep score and make sure all players have a great time. The game requires no prior experience – and absolutely no athletic skills at all! WhirlyDome visitors can also experience the sights, sound and adrenaline rush of what it’s like to drive a Formula One race car. The WhirlyDome is home to the new Formula One racing simulator from Evotek Engineering – the first of its kind in the U.S. Created in Italy, this simulator is modeled after the F1 simulators used by professional racing teams. WhirlyDome also offers Lazer Frenzy, where players navigate a maze of laser beams, haze and mirrors, as well as the latest in Laser Tag. Guests will also find pool tables and a variety of arcade games. WhirlyDome isn’t just a place to play, it’s also a place to relax and unwind while enjoying a drink, lunch or dinner at Bloodhound Brew Pub & Eatery. Bloodhound Brew is a casual pub featuring local specialty craft beers and a full menu made from scratch with both indoor and outdoor seating. WhirlyDome has multiple party rooms with complete AV capabilities and is ready to provide the food and fun for large corporate functions, family reunions and everything in between. There is no admission charge at the WhirlyDome. Visitors pay only for activities that they take part in.

Orlando's Premiere Miniature Golf Experience Come and experience Central Florida’s newest and most outrageously themed miniature golf – Hollywood Drive-In Golf at Universal CityWalk Orlando! The two all-new, state-of-the-art 18-hole courses are unlike any other miniature golf experience. Inspired by the 1950’s era, guests enter a classic drive-in theater box office area where they select either a “single-feature” (18-holes) or “double-feature” (36-holes) with a choice of two family friendly courses, “The Haunting of Ghostly Greens” and “Invaders From Planet Putt.” Based on vintage horror flicks and “little green men” science fiction films, guests putt through elaborate movie-style scenes, passing through a cemetery, under a giant spider, around an enormous alien robot, through the open mouth of a giant space worm, and into the basement lab of a towering haunted house. Cutting-edge interactive elements and special effects immerse guests further into the “double feature,” and LED neon edge-lighting allows play during the day, night, and late night.
