Lock Chicago hosts innovative Escape Room adventures and experiences in the Chicago area. For those who aren't familiar, an Escape Room is a space that has been decorated, designed, and decked out with a theme and puzzles that you and a group of friends will have an hour to solve. Its a perfect game for any group of friends, and you can book either a private room for yourselves or join a public game. Located in Evanston, IL right off Northwestern Universities campus we offer 3 unique escape room experiences, "Matsuri", "Malfunction", and "Icarus". Perfect for team building and events for family and friends we welcome you to see for yourself if you have what it takes to earn a spot on our "Wall of Champions"!
Lock Chicago has been so generous to us here at the National Kidney Foundation of Illinois. We have used their packages in various programs and events including highly bid on silent auction items and family fun for our patients and their families. They are incredibly responsive and always willing to work with us. Amazing organization and staff!

Immerse yourself in victory. Feel the quake of nearby explosions. Move quickly to evade the enemy and lead your team to glory. MassVR's VR Champions is the experience you have been waiting for. VR Champions lets up to 8 players play at once, engaging in team-versus-team battle. Collaborate - meet up in real life and enter a physical virtual reality experience.
My friends and I have visited MassVR several times. The staff is welcoming and friendly, and was willing to answer all our questions when we were new. The game itself (VR Champions) is an exceptionally developed multiplayer game. With 3 maps currently available (I have heard more things are in the final stages of development), each experience is fresh and exciting. There are walk-in discounts for students, and regularly occurring "Bootcamp" nights on Wednesdays, where you get trained by experienced players at a huge discount (3 for 1 deal). Considering the reasonable price, it's a great way to spend an evening with friends and/or family. P.S. While the game is quite active (be prepared to sweat), the environment is safe and comfortable. It really is fun for any age group.

The Village Crossing AMC is our usual theatre, as it is close to home and there are usually a lot of choices in movies of all genres. Though there is food inside from the concession stand, there are also more than a few restaurants in the immediate area if you want to have dinner and a movie. The theatre is well-maintained and clean, including the restrooms, which are well placed. We were in auditorium #6 and though the seats don’t recline, they are comfortable. We came for the movie “Midway” at a matinee performance. The movie, sort of a remake of the 1976 version with Henry Fonda, was very good. Naturally, the special effects have improved and with the new CGI technology so this version does reap the benefits of modern technology. Remember, you may want to plan on coming on Tuesdays, as the admission is a bit more reasonable.
