Walking around the park, only a few minutes from Blacktown station, you could believe you are far from a large city. The bird wildlife, the interesting facts dotted around the walk makes you aware of our part in the ecosystem. Relaxing picnic areas, bbqs, waterplay area for young kids, basketball courts, open fields for footy, a great place for a family gathering .

mANY PEOPLE MAY NOT HAVE VISITED THIS SUPERB SPORTING FACILITY. It has all the amenities you need to have a great fitness workout, the running walking paths are wide enough for path sharing minimising any danger and just enough trees to grab some shade on a hot day. Each Saturday morning they have the ROOTY HILL parkrun which is top rated in terms of organisation and attracts 200 plus people (8.00am)

First time at drive in Sydney, and familiar with them as a kid. My partner grew up in the same era, but had never been. It was charming and fun. Worth the effort to get there and great value.
