It is a historical church, although rebuilt in some parts. A fabulous church with impressive architecture and stained glass windows. The churchyard is worth a look as well. The cemetery is full of headstones worth taking a look at . Even if you come here primarily for the palace, this church adjoining the palace is very beautiful. Definitely worth visiting for just a few minutes.

We stayed here for a night as we travelled round the outlander film locations. Such a nice friendly, clean site, well looked after, deer & Highland cattle etc to see there, lovely walks in the forest or for cycling. Enjoyed our stay, staff very friendly and helpful.

Linlithgow Loch Short Stays -Only a stone's throw from Linlithgow Loch - 2nd Level 3 Bed Apartment with great views to the Loch and the Palace. Just a few hundred metres ( less than a 5 minute walk! ) from the Train Station and close to all restaurants , take aways and pubs. Very modern spacious apartment - with Flat screen TV and Broadband/ Internet Access. 3 Bedrooms with 3 double beds, Living Room with sofas , Bathroom and Kitchen - all very modern.
Linlithgow Loch is a large expanse of water which is bounded by Linlithgow Town centre to the south and M9 motorway on its northern banks. The Loch is very peaceful and when I visited in September 2020 there was hardly anyone around, there were more swans to be seen than people. It is possible to walk around the full perimeter of the Loch but I had a stroll around the southern banks when I visited which was pleasant and relaxing. Linlithgow Loch is place that is definitely worth exploring when in West Lothian.

Went for a walk round this rather large country park, followed two way marked routes both joining lovely forest walk and stroll beside river Almond. Playgrounds for the kids, golf course and driving range Owl sanctuary(closed in winter months) and a small visitor centre that could be a bit more informative although nice to visit. Would be great for kids in summer months.

Well worth the detour to this magical place. The trees next to the war memorial are laid out perfectly. There is Tina of nature here too. I enjoyed learning more about the Korean War. It’s a shame to see people die because if war.

Dating back to 1670 Linlithgow Burgh halls is a unique landmark building at the heart of the historic town. Today it is a modern multi-functional venue with a dedicated art gallery, stunning halls for weddings receptions and ceremonies, public events, art workshops and talks. It also has its own café with an outdoor terrace area and walled garden. The Gallery presents a changing programme of exhibitions featuring significant work by national and international artists that resonates with this unique building.
This is a cafe with a small art gallery. Good place to stop after going to Linlithgow Palace. It is right outside the Palace.
