Vanuatu Craft Association has been the first local distillery to open in July 2018. The shareholder visions was to support the local communities with buying 100% local fruits, vegetables and crops. But also to promote the Vanuatu "savoir-faire" and the country internationally. As matter to avoid wastage, VCA is also producing jams, jelly spreads, cordials, vinegars and extracts. All natural waste (peelings etc.) is used as a natural fertilizer in our sugar cane fields. All our visitors receive a free intro-tour of our premises with complimentary tasting on weekly selected produts. Purchases available local paid or Duty Free for travellers. We hope that this little introduction has convinced you and that we will have the pleasure to see you very soon in our shop. Lukim yu!
Visiting this place while in Port Vila is a must... you will be able to taste multiple products which are all produced in Vanuatu. The service is great and all the people there are not only very nice but also very helpful. There is free parking and relatively close to the airport. You can buy products duty free and they will be delivered at your gate before departure.

We arrived by ship....a cruise ship.....all 4500 of us....for one day. What a little paradise this turned out to be. This is a small coral island that you can walk around in less than an hour. Friendly locals with stalls and touristy stuff for sale. Some food and drink. Best part was the swim in the ocean...warm and relaxing. All nicely organised.

Hired a car from. Our resort... Turtle Bay, and headed north about 35km. Kept driving past the usual champange beach and got glimpses of some incredible water color. There is a sign post inviting you in and there is no charge unlike some others. We found most probably the best beach I have been to, there is a small restaurant and bar and the beach. We were lucky and have the place almost to ourselves. If there was a hotel on site I'd never leave.

A new marketplace dedicated to selling and promoting authentic Vanuatu Made Handicrafts . The market provides over 50 vendors with a platform to sell products that they have either made themselves (often on site) or have been purchased via wholesale, often from the outer islands. A wide variety of products such as baskets, home decor, carvings, jewelry and artwork are displayed and available for purchase. This marketplace is playing a pivotal role in reestablishing traditional handicrafts in the retail market after it has gradually become inundated with plastic and imported souvenirs.
The locals are super amazing with their friendly smiles and colourful, stylish handicrafts that enlighten the souls of whoever walks by with affordable prices. A great spot in Port-Vila city.

Our first trip to Vanuatu. The staff were happy for us to take our time looking around, and the store owner happy to share her family history with us, made us feel very welcome . The selection of goods is excellent from a huge range of perfume and skincare, makeup, wallets, bags, alcohol and chocolates, you’re almost certainly going to find the perfect gift to take home. Great pricing and our purchases were bagged, tagged and ready for us to collect at the boarding gate when we were leaving. Highly recommended! Hope to meet you again.
