Trabzon Province (Turkish: Trabzon ili) is a province of Turkey on the Black Sea coast. Located in a strategically important region, Trabzon is one of the oldest trade port cities in Anatolia. Neighbouring provinces are Giresun to the west, Gümüşhane to the southwest, Bayburt to the southeast and Rize to the east. The provincial capital is Trabzon city, and the traffic code is 61. The major ethnic groups are Turks, but the province is also home to a minority of Muslim Romeika-speakers, though younger speakers are not always fluent in this language.

Definitely a beauty! I have enjoyed the walk there, weather was a bit cold because it’s a very high area, there are variety if restaurants and cafes where you can sit and enjoy the view with your family, friends or as couples.

Aya Sofia is currently closed for renovation, as are most sights in Trabzon, such as the museum and Sumela monastery. However it is still worth a visit because you can walk around the outside and take in this amazing sight. The cafe is also a nice place to relax and see the view Hopefully I can return to see the inside in the future.

Located on a cobbled stone pedestrian shopping treet in the old town of Trabzon near one of the best spice shops in the country, this beautiful church stands untouched by the centuries as beautiful as ever in all its stone magnificence. Highly recommended. Later shop the beautiful boutiques, sweet and spice shops in the Old Town surrounding.

Paradise on Earth, the most place I like in this trip, small village round the lake between the valleys. For beautiful photo of wide or high angel shape must walk up to the viewpoint which is quite high, people with heart problems should be careful.
