Studios on the Park is a nonprofit gallery and open studios art center in a prestigious location in downtown Paso Robles, Ca. Studios’ arts access and education services to more than 100,000 students, families and visitors each year help to make the Central Coast region a leader in creative culture, education and innovation. Among our many essential program and outreach efforts is Kids Art Smart. We believe all children should have access to creative learning opportunities through the arts. With arts education cut from local schools, Studios on the Park provides free visual arts programming for thousands of K-12 grade students.
This interesting gallery has something for everyone and is a great asset to the local community by allowing local artists to work in front of clients, and it also has class space for local adults and children to develop their interests and talents. After a wonderful dinner on the square, we walked the perimeter streets and enjoyed our visit, buying a little something to voice our support for the local artists. Car art is a 1950-1953 Hudson, like the ones our family owned in those years! :-)

An OASIS like no other! Our tasting room is nestled amongst the hills in the beautiful south-east portion of Paso Robles in the El Pomar District. Have your tasting inside or out, overlooking breathtaking scenes that include 60 planted acres of SIP certified sustainable vineyards, 2 acres of gardens and flowers, and a grove of 130+ year old olive trees. Our grounds are perfect for a casual picnic in the sunshine or an intimate wedding. You can enjoy tableside service in the sunshine and often leave learning something new. You’ll be able to spot a wide variety of wildlife on the property, with an assortment of birds from sparrows and quail to imposing hawks and eagles. Still Waters is a family owned vineyard that is dedicated to producing small lots of premium estate wines including Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec, Cabernet Franc, Syrah, Grenache, Primitivo, Zinfandel, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier, and Pinot Gris as well as estate olive oil for tasting.
Confirmation of how incredible the grounds are here. Just beautiful - lush & green. Red grapes ready for the late August crush, flowering plants and tricking water into wine barrels. Gazebos and big umbrellas provide shade and the entire tasting room and grounds encourage milling-about and friendly conversation. Boys loved the corn-game as well. Charcuterie plate was 10/10 and the tasting was done with a ton of description and options for everyone’s preferences. Great visit - a definite favorite!

Love this olive oil (organic) and were in the area and toured the farm. Great experience to learn how olive oil makes it to our shelf in an organic manner as well spending time on the porch of of the owner's house tasting and learning about the history of the region. Highly recommend, esp. if you enjoy farm-to-table type of experiences.

TOBIN JAMES-IT'S ALL TRUE!! Open 10 - 6 daily. Tobin James Cellars, established in 1985, is famous for its rich, intense Cabernet Sauvignons, Zinfandels, Syrahs, Merlot, Bordeaux blends, Chardonnay and many other varietals. Tasting at the Grand Antique Bar, the popular Tasting Room is always a must for wine lovers. The legendary James Gang Wine Club is a growing testament to the winery's commitment to excellent quality and its fun, unpretentious approach to wine. Complimentary tasting. Only closed Christmas Day.
What an amazing wine tasting experience at Tobin James! First, I was surprised at a review that said that the winery was not COVID safe. That could not be further from the truth. When we arrived for our reservation, all staff members were wearing masks, our temperatures were taken before we were allowed in, and we were told to please wear a mask until we got to our tasting station. The tasting stations were well distanced along a stretch of long tables. What made this winery the absolute best for tasting during this COVID period is that each tasting area had a staff member that poured whatever wine you wanted from the Tobin James portfolio! Every other tasting we did at other wineries in the area that day only offered flights with limited staff interaction and sometimes long waits between flights. The pours were usually not very generous and because of limited staff, re-pours were difficult. At Tobin James, if you wanted more of what you especially liked, your server was right there and more than happy to do so...thank you Kaye! The wines at Tobin James were outstanding with a good range of different varietals at different price points. I found other wineries had increased their prices substantially from what I remember, so that was somewhat disappointing, and really can limit your wine purchases, especially if you are on a tighter budget. Their Wine Club is really different as well and a real bargain for the quality of wines offered, Thanks again Tobin James for a wonder wine experience and please thank Kaye for us!

This was by far our favorite Pinot Noir winery. Every Pinot we tasted was excellent and everything is estate grown on their 15 acres.

Eberle Winery is a family-owned producer and marketer of premium wines, representing the Eberle Estate, single varieties and designated vineyards. Eberle wines have showcased the history and diverse flavors of the Paso Robles Appellation since 1979. Gary launched his career as a winemaker and as the “Pioneer” of Paso Robles Wine Region by helping to establish his family's Estrella River Winery & Vineyards. In the late 70’s, he decided to pursue his own project and acquired nearly 64 acres just down the road from Estrella River Winery. Shortly thereafter, Gary released his first Eberle wine, the 1979 Cabernet Sauvignon debuting the iconic boar logo, depicting the German origin of the name Eberle, meaning “small boar.” Reservations are now required to visit and can be made online or by calling us. We have changed up a few things so that we can provide a welcoming and safe environment for wine tasting and bottle service. Please let us know if you have any questions.
Highly recommend visiting this winery! We visited on a cool rainy day and since sitting outside was not an option, they had opened up the wine making room for seated tastings. Our server, Kirk, was a delight. He not only educated us on Eberle wines, but entertained us with some jokes. The wines here were very tasty. We particularly liked the Full Boar Red - especially for the price. The Zin & Cab were quite nice also. Worth a stop while visiting Paso Robles!

J. Lohr is a large, family owned winery that grows grapes in various parts of California. As a result, the winery makes a variety of wines, including multiple Chardonnays, Viogner, Rieslings, Sauvignon Blanc, Oinot Noir, Cab Sauvignons, Merlots and several red blends. In general J. Lohr wines are excellent, and while much of the production is not very expensive, some of the best wines are quite pricey. The Paso Robles facility is just about 3 miles outside of Paso and offers beautiful vineyards, a tasting room a dn a winery available for touring.
