There are many entrances to this beautiful place and is very popular with dog walkers. There are car parks at the Rectory Lane entrance and Kimberly Drive entrance It was a place my parents took me to when I was young to catch sticklebacks and where I took my children. As with every place like this you must always be aware of others around you and be considerate to other people.

Great atmosphere, fantastic staff and a really good selection of beers, wines and the best ever gins! They do really fun events too, silent disco, singalongs, wine and gin tasting evenings too. And don’t even get me started on the gin and prosecco afternoon teas! The best place locally for a night out.

Welcome to The Broken Drum, Bexley's third micropub. We encourage good conversation and only sell the finest real ales straight from the cask, in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We are frequently changing our ales so you can be sure there will be something new to try. We hope you will visit for a pint (or three) and enjoy the company.

Regulars since it opened and the best bar for miles. Friendly staff, great beers & wines and always a warm welcome. Visited recently on a Monday night amid rumours of further lockdown measures just around the corner to find a happy upbeat group talking and listening which the pub encourages, in a difficult time found our visit a real moral booster . Really need to keep the pubs open for the company as well as the economy.

I consider myself very lucky to have this little gem on my doorstep. A very friendly place, great beers, great atmosphere and a great location. A wonderful family run micropub where as soon as you walk through the door you feel at home and welcome.

This is the number one walking spot for me and my olde English bulldog. He absolutely loves this place with so much to explore and you cannot keep him out of the water!!! Absolutely perfect for long walks in all seasons and especially on hot days where he can cool off with a paddle. The scenery is lovely and makes for a very therapeutic couple of hours. Maintained to a high standard all year round and inevitably some spoil it for the rest by leaving their rubbish behind but this is very soon cleared away.

Tried to book via the ‘Green King’ app but wasn’t working properly so called ahead to check availability. The girl on the phone was very polite and managed to book a table no problem. Upon entering the pub was greeted by the manager and he made sure we understood the social distancing arrangements. We checked in via the NHS app and was shown to our table. Good selection of food and drink and served promptly. Some good deals on their current menu as well. Will return again for more informal meals. Thoroughly recommended.

Ruxley Manor, situated on Maidstone Road in Sidcup, was founded in 1964, nearly 100 years on from Henry Evans founding H. Evans and Sons. Since this time the Garden Centre has gone from strength to strength, expanding our offering and providing the local community with quality produce and entertainment. We are proud to still remain a family business with the 5th generation of the family running the business today.
Lovely little garden centre always something nice bits to have a look at and purchase especially love it there at Christmas time when they make a real effort to transform into a winter wonderland
