If you have any jnterest in architecture or churches this is another example of wonderful baroque building with an interior so beautiful that you can easy spend time just looking upwards to the vaulted knave and immense columns either side. Really lovely place and not over run with tourism at least at the time we visited.

Gorgeous sleepy town on the sea. Has everything you need and the beaches along that coast are fab. Eat at Il Consiglio di Sicilia if you are there.

Yes if you are a fan on Inspector Montalbano you will know where I mean. The quaint town of Scicli is the fictional town of Vigata where much of the filming is done in the Town Hall. A beautiful medieval town with lots of squares, churches and coffee shops to explore, apart from the architecture and views. Really charming town. For fans of Montalbano there are various excursions that can be arranged and I believe they will also let you see his office for a fee. The town itself is worth a visit.
