Sara from our B & B took us around the lake on her boat. Didn't realise just how big the lake is! We spent a few hours travelling around seeing the sites on the lake and the private island where the nobility from Venice live.

We went into this church everyday to look at all the different altars each with their own most amazing history and art. Lovely oasis of calm. Good leaflets explaining everything. And then a tasty ice cream when you came out

The Palazzo della Podestà had been built in 1524 and then restored in the beginning of the 20th century after the earthquake. Its impressive facade faces the vibrant main square of Salo. Elegant loggias with benches is a nice spot to hide from the sun, sit and relax enjoying the views of the lake while waiting for the boat.

Camillo wine bar is located downtown Salo', in one os town's most picturesque squares. The relaxing and informal atmosphere is what the owners offer to thei customers while reccomending a great selection of wines which includes national and international labels focusing on locally grown wines. Using fresh and seasonal ingredients is one of the greatest commitments at Camillo that is why we reccomend you to stop here and enjoy your lunch, dinner ora a quick meal accompained by a glass of wine.
