A must walk with grandiose scenery.Fantastic granit pinnacles, intense blue waves, beautiful surf beach. The burrows belong to the shearwaters or mutton birds , silent during the day and invading the sky at sunset. The best part of Philip Island.

Set on the south coast of Phillip Island, this inviting property is open 5 days a week for lunches and afternoon grazing options using the best local produce. The grounds are stunning yet simple, offering expansive lawns, rolling rural views and glimpses of the glittering turquoise water of Bass Straight. The cellar door offers wine-tasting and retail wine and cider sales. The venue offers weekend live music, fun workshops and Premium wine and dining experiences. Guests can wander through “The Yards” where an on-site floral stylist and quality gift shop offers an opportunity to take home a souvenir. The winery regularly hosts weddings and events plus premium evening wine dinners, and the new owners plan to extend the vineyard and build a purpose-built event space for future bookings.
We had a beautiful afternoon celebrating my 30th birthday. The staff were beautiful, friendly, easy going and attentive. They over to chat and make you feel welcome. The food was great- fresh, simple and tasty. The wine tasting is great, affordable and the knowledge of the staff briefing you of the wine’s background and pairings was great. I loved the sparkling, Chardonnay and moscato (I don’t like moscato but you have to try this one!) Even though the wines are not grown on the property (yet!) you are still supporting and tasting Victorian vineyards produce. We have a 7 month old, the staff (and other diners!) dotted over her but were supportive and made us feel very welcome. Loved the whole experience, they made my day very special and delightful. Highly, highly recommend.

The Nobbies is the name given to a rocky promontory in Phillip Island. Lots of seabirds cn be found there, you can occasionally find nesting penguins. The main attraction, apart from the crashing waves, is the seals, who seem to spend their time jumping in and out the water. By the way, the seals main predator is the great white shark. As the sharks cannot tell the difference between seals and swimminers, it is m ost unwise to swim at the Nobbies.

It is indeed a beautiful beach. Unfortunately condition was too rough for a swim. The coast guards were around. Definitely picture perfect and stop by the kiosk for refreshing drinks.

Pyramid Rock rises up out of the Bass Straight. This place is wild and beautiful with the amazing waves crashing against the rock. Best time to visit is sunrise or sunset but still worth a visit. There is ample car parking, and two viewing platforms, and one that is wheelchair accessible. If you go just before dusk you may see some Swamp Wallabies hopping around.

If you're planning a trip to Phillip island, make sure you work this into your trip. You can stay as long as you like, but allow at least 1-2 hours for the stroll down the beach (from the car park, you'll need at least 15 minutes to walk to Forrest Caves) There are a lot of stairs coming down onto the beach here, so it may prove difficult for those who have physical limitations. This is a stunning natural formation created by the power of the waves, best viewed at low tide so make sure you search up high and low tide times for the day you plan on visiting. You can go there at any time, but you can only see the cave fully when the tide is lowest. You can climb on top the rock formation and this makes for stunning photographs, especially if taken at sunset! Make a day of it and pack a picnic lunch and blanket. It's a beautiful spot, that is worth checking out while on the island!

Beautiful beach and lovely and clean. Loads of restaurants and bars nearby plus public toilets (very clean, even at the end of the day).

The Nobbies Centre. Only 5 minutes from the Penguin Parade this spectacular headland offers stunning ocean views from clifftop boardwalks. View the world’s largest Australian Fur Seal colony at Seal Rocks, approximately 2km offshore. Home to the exciting Antarctic Journey multimedia attraction where you can take a virtual journey to the world's most remote continent.
Be prepared to spend a bit of time at the Nobbies, such a wonderful place to visit. Make sure you come at high tide for the blow hole, sunset for the wallabies, and stay for hot chips and dessert at the cafe, really quite wonderful

We hadn’t been to the Purple Hen for a few years, they’ve gone from strength to strength since our last visit. Although they now charge for wine tasting ($15/head for 6 wines) our server pointed out that if we both ordered 6 different wine tastes, we’d cover most of the selection, and if you buy 2 bottles the fee is waived- so we did that! An excellent cheese board for lunch to follow sitting out in the courtyard meant it was a great visit, highly recommended (and the Sav Blac is great too)
