Beautiful Bright Catholic Church with a friendly congregation and convenient to Ormond Beach. We were also able to partake of Knights of Columbus Pancake, eggs, sausage, coffee, and juice breakfast for $5, which is held first Sunday of each month.

We have been going to this park for a couple decades and it still ranks as one of their favorite ones. We call it Rainbow Park, as you enter under the arched rainbow. The play ground is under a canopy of oak trees (although the hurricanes the past couple of years have affected the amount of shade left from them). The playground has a large multi-level, multi-section wooden playset with turrets, wooden bridge, fireman's pole, rope wall, multiple monkey bars, balance beam, teeter-totter, disk swing, and much more. There is a small area within the fenced playground for younger children and a handicap accessible swing. Parents can sit on one of the park benches or seating areas within the wooden playset. There is also a covered Pavillion with picnic tables. Outside the fenced play area are workout stations, a larger swing set, basketball courts, and racketball courts. Public restrooms are within an easy walking distance behind the park in the rear parking area. Other covered pavillions are nearby, as well. Enjoy a short time here between errands, after school, or make it longer and meet friends there.

Look into Florida's racing past here.
We stumbled across Ormond Beach in 2017 simply looking for a place to stay on our way to Orlando on the beach that was inexpensive. We found a hotel right on the beach that was extremely affordable and fell in love with the community very quickly. Our family enjoy the laid back beach community outside the hustle and bustle of Daytona tourism. You can be a vacationer but feel like a local there. Beach is clean, and people are friendly.

This former home of J. D. Rockefeller has a very interesting history. The free entry (donations are welcome) is nice, and if you can - call ahead for a guided tour (with the bonus of seeing the third floor). An app for our phone for a self guided tour was available which gave us a nicer experience than just wandering around by providing a narration at individual stations throughout the house. With so much information about J. D. Rockefeller & Standard Oil, and plenty of memorabilia from that era, we easily spent a couple of hours visiting.

We are located on the beachside in Ormond just steps from the Atlantic Ocean. Enjoy the surrounding community and grab a bite at more than eight restaurants. Our art exhibitions change frequently and there is always something new to discover in our lush gardens. If you have more than an hour, sign up for one of our art classes, garden talks or children’s programs! As of October 1st, the Museum building is temporarily CLOSED to the public. The Gardens will remain open and accessible daily, and we will continue to offer art programming and outreach activities virtually and at alternative locations! Our project includes a renovation of our original 1915 and 1946 buildings to retain their exterior charm, and the construction of a two-story building to replace the 1998 addition and create much-needed new square footage. Built on almost the same existing museum footprint, we’ll soon have bigger classrooms, more exhibition space, dedicated meeting and office areas, rooftop terrace & MORE!!
We visited this museum in Ormond Beach with friends. It is small but has plenty of parking. They were having a guest speaker talking about the importance of Bees. Really good and wonderful to hear this topic being covered. The gardens are really pleasant to walk thru with dedication to the Veterans. The art work is only a few rooms but nicely displayed. There was an additional room with crafts from the Elementary school. They were awesome to see each age development. I highly recommend going here.

We had breakfast across the street and though the day looked gloomy, we decided to relax for a few on one of their benches and just admire the view. The spot is really very peaceful and gives a great unobstructed view of the ocean. We spent a lot more time on than bench than we originally intended just admiring the beauty. If you've got a few minutes to spare, stop and rest for a few, you'd be surprised how quickly the time passes.
