We, at Good Spa, are committed to provide health and beauty care treatments in modern environment and comforts. All our treatments are carried out under the supervision of qualified physiotherapist, who will guide you through the process and customize your treatment to suit your requirements and expectations. Dear guests, we do not have any parking area, only for scooters.
Went for deep tissue massage (great after surfing, good pressure) and ayurveda wellness (very soothing and relaxing, body wrap smelled amazing, bath outside is super cool experience). Overall the place has charming atmosphere: you can relax near the river with tea and enjoy the scenery, relaxing music is playing everywhere, cool outside showers in the tree shades. And great and welcoming staff! Also respond fast via WhatsApp Highly recommend as a must-do experience when in Weligama area

Welcome to Our Lady of Matara Shrine The venerated Shrine of Our Lady of Matara is enshrined in the one Church that stands facing the Indian Ocean in the city of Matara. The famed statue of Our Lady of Matara is taken in procession in a beautifully illuminated motor Chariot along the streets of the town.
Shrine of Our Lady of Matara is a Roman Catholic church devoted to the Virgin Mary, in the town of Matara, Sri Lanka. The shrine houses a statue of the Virgin Mary holding the infant Jesus. Though the statue's origins are unknown, church officials claim that it is 400 years old. The statue has been damaged, lost and recovered more than once, most recently during the 2004 tsunami in Asia, which damaged the shrine and killed 24 people attending Sunday Mass. The church celebrated its centenary year in 2007.

A very nice sand beach with big waves when I was there. Saw one guy have his hip dislocated by the waves so pays to be careful when swimming. The water was warm, the beach was cleaner than most in Sri Lanka and there was food and drinks available from the restaurants on the beach at affordable prices.

This beach is a nice sheltered bay, where you can swim and surf withour being hit by the huge waves and the strong current which is common at the southern part of Sri Lanka. There are a few restaurants on the beach, they provide beach chairs if you eat or drink there.

The surfing in Weligama was the best ever, our whole family enjoyed the gentle waves and there was plenty of space, never felt crowded. The water was warm and nice. Will definitely come back on next surf trip with the family
