Established in 1973 by David and Heather Watson, Woodlands is one of Margaret River's first five wineries.Woodlands produces wine from its two vineyards, both located in the Wilyabrup Valley of Margaret River. The original Woodlands Vineyard is located on Caves Road, while the Woodlands Brook Vineyard is located two kilometres to the northeast.Woodlands' Vineyards are dry grown and maintained by hand using organic and traditional methods. Wines produced include Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Merlot blends, and Chardonnay. All Woodlands wines are made on site by the Watson family.
All the times I have visited Margaret River and this was my first time to Woodlands Wines. I have been missing out! Firstly the staff are amazing, really friendly, knowable & helpful. The cellar door is lovely and comfortable, very relaxing and the wines are great and reasonably priced. There is a snack menu with the most amazing cheese boards that are not to be missed. All in all, one of my favourite experiences this trip and I can't wait to return.

Tracie Anderson is an established South-West Ceramic & mixed Media Artist. Tracie uses found objects from the shores of Western Australia and upcycles them with ceramics to form beautiful sculptural & functional art. Her studio which is located within the Artgeo Cultural Complex in Busselton is a working studio/gallery. You can watch Tracie create her next piece of art while browsing her fascinating gallery. All of Tracies pieces are unique and are solely Western Australian. Her found objects include shell, driftwood, metal, bone and other interesting finds. Tracies studio is well worth a visit to experience and see hands on ceramics and beautiful organic found pieces found on our pristine Western Australian coastline.
Always something different in this studio of continuos creation. So much to choose from and very affordable. It’s a must visit for locals and visitors alike. Looking for a workshop that’s different and wanting to try something new...try One of Tracie’s .I am thrilled with my efforts and found that I loved getting my hands into the clay and creating something from scratch with Tracie’s guidance Amazed really!,

Where else can you find, a International Award winning distillery producing Top Shelf Spirits; a brewery that makes fantastic craft beer; cafe with homemade pizza; a cocktail bar using TGD delicious liqueurs; and secluded accommodation so you don't have to leave.
We popped by this afternoon on impulse - despite no notice the staff were happy to help us out with a distillery tour, which was entertaining and informative, particularlywhen it came to discussing ingredients used and the challenges of distilling in Australia vs other countries. Food was lovely (the scones are absolutely delicious!), and the quality of the spirits on offer excellent - the Turkish delight liqueur in particular i can easily see needing a repeat order. The surroundings are great - this is not an operation where quality has been skimped on at all, and it's extremely picturesque. Staff were all helpful and cheerful - my father and I had a wonderful time and are already looking forward to our next trip when we can spend more than a couple of hours here!

Went body boarding and body surfing with my two daughters, and it is a lovely beach. The afternoon we were there, Lifeguards were in attendance which was great to see, but the surf was quite rough, with a very strong tide/current. Didn’t stop us have fun though. Had to leave the water after a couple of hours as a shark had been spotted not far from where we were, but that is to be expected when you play in their territory. There is a naturally formed lagoon near the car park which is great for those wanting to swim or those who have younger children. It is a beautiful beach and well worth a visit.

Great beach, sheltered from the surf. Good views from the walkways through the dunes which is also a pretty good walk.
