Currently on display "Free Thinkers: Transformative Lines". A selection of drawings, paintings, altarpieces, engravings and fabrics by Walter Solón Romero Gonzales (1923-1999) based on continuous lines that appeal to the free interpretation of the viewer. The exhibition covers five spaces in the Museum: Between Lines (1968), Lighting Ideas (1969), After the Lost Warp (1976), Unfinished Altarpieces (1999) and Engravings Selection (1968 - 1985). On the third floor is the artist's studio with two unfinished murals: one about the history of the coca leaf and another about his life.

The trip was great, but also truned out to be very dangerous. We didn’t go via. the slingshot route which was a mistake, since all hell broke loose when it started to rain. Landslides occured, earth cracked open and trees were washed away. We were soaking wet for several hours and the route we took, was impossible to exit in the end because the road was destoryed by a river (see picture) so we had to go all the way back.. Be careful of street dogs when you enter and leave the trial. They were biting in our jackets which we used for shields, so get the taxi to set you off as close as possible to the trail. Or carry a stick to push the dogs away. Otherwise great nature and I didn’t mind the adventure where the situation got dire for us. Bring plenty of food, water and coca leaves. Altitude is high. Only got a couple of pictures from when it started to rain like hell, but it was way worse than it looks. Have fun on the trip and don’t follow the road as seen on the picture. You can do it, but prepare to go all the way back that you came from. Cheers

Before leaving Copacabana you have to go up there, the walk is hard but worth the view. You cant forget...you have to leave a stone in the top on one of the status for good luck. Take as many Pictures as you can...this place is for far the best view you will get.

You can drive up or hike, just be aware some taxi drivers may not take you to the very top or come all the way up to pick you back up. Once you get to the base you can climb all the way to the very top which makes you feel like an extreme rock climber when really you're just mildly terrified of falling to your demise. If you go at night, you can make a fire with your friends and tell ghost stories and see the lights of La Paz. 10/10 would most likely recommend. I would suggest not going by yourself though because there can sometimes be creepers up there. Just be aware.

If you're into sunsets and city views that is the place to be. Very accessible (taxi from centre 10BS, walk 15mins from Plaza del Armas) and offering 360 degree view of La Paz. Worth it!

Such a beautiful, magical place! There is so much to see here. It's not just a pretty view on your way to Coroico. There are many pieces of art scattered around the mountains that you can go around and explore. There's so little info about the statues online, but at least some of them were made by Bolivian-Swiss artist Francine Secretan. There are few signs and not much information provided, so you just have to go around exploring yourself. It's super cold though, so dress appropriately.

Not only does this spot contain a fabulous lookout point for a 360 degree view of La Paz, but it also has a children’s park and food stands.

This cathedral’s central attraction is its statue of the Virgin Mary, a local phenomenon said to grant wishes and give blessings for safe travel, healthy children and even automotive reliability.
This church has some of the most amazing artwork I have seen in all of Bolivia. It was definitely the highlight of the experience. I would go back to Copacabana just to look at those painting again.
