A wonderful surprise to find wineries (our favourite pass time) in the South Burnett. Crane wines, just outside Kingaroy, is a wonderful example of how far Qld wines have come. Judy was really pleasant and the atmosphere created is wonderful. They have a huge range of fortified wines and specialty liquors to compliment their wines. Do yourself a favour and visit this region.

Kingaroy Art is filled with wonderful art work show casing local talent from art crafts, paintings, to gemstones and jewelry. Art work is for sale and you can pick up some beautifully crafted items. It's free to visit and only need to spend short time walking through the rooms/ hallways. I thought the building is beautiful with art deco and interesting ceiling features too. Next door is the town Information Centre to buy souvenirs and next building is the Heritage Museum to visit. Nice gardens out the back to sit down for a rest stop and public toilets available also.

Our first trip to Pottique Lavender Farm will certainly not be our last. From the simply yummy lunch, the attractive outdoor gardens, browsing the gift shop and looking at the wonderful antiques for sale this place has it all. We had a simple but delightful lunch. Great service in a very relaxing atmosphere - already planning our next trip out.

Kingsley Grove Estate is a family owned and operated business, established in 1998 by Michael and Patricia Berry. Built in the estate tradition, the first plantings were made in 1998 with the winery being built in 2001. This allowed the first commercial vintage to completed in 2002. Kingsley Grove take great pride in operating a self-sustaining winery with the concept of From Berry to Bottle. This means that we grow all the grapes used in winemaking on site and use our modern, fully equipped winery to create a wide range of wines. This allows us to make a range that includes traditional wines and more innovative styles that are designed to suit the Queensland climate. We grow a wide selection of grape varieties including 5 red and 6 white. From these we have produced medal winning wines, and continue to innovate and develop their list which includes varietals, blends, sparkling wines and a selection of fortified wines. Kingsley Grove's cellar door is open for wine tasting 7 days a week from 10am to 5pm and on Saturday's and Sunday's serve Pat's famous wood-fired pizzas. Tours of our working winery are available by the winemaker, Simon if booked in advance. We can also cater for groups and can provide a unique venue for parties and functions, contact us to book in advance. Kingsley Grove's exceptional wines can also sampled at Taste South Burnett and can be purchased online and in selected Kingaroy and South Burnett restaurants/motels. We presently attend Food and Wine Festivals in Kingaroy, Toowoomba, Hampton, Maryborough, Childers, Goomeri, Bundaberg, Maleny and Brisbane.
Called in to sample some wines - which were very good and ended up staying for lunch - the BEST PIZZA ever. Pizzas made fresh on site and cooked in their own pizza oven - simply the best ! accompanied by a nice glass of wine and to top it off - the amazing wine ice-cream - so creamy and delightful - I had to go back for seconds! Great spot - great owners - do yourself a favour and call in!

Volunteer staff members have always been helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. The centre has a great range of local products. As a local, I purchase their hampers for Christmas presents for out of town friends.
