Holmfirth is a small town on the A6024 Woodhead Road in the Holme Valley, within the Metropolitan Borough of Kirklees, West Yorkshire, England. Centred upon the confluence of the Holme and Ribble rivers, Holmfirth is 6 miles (9.7 km) south of Huddersfield and 13 miles (21 km) northeast of Glossop. It mostly consists of stone-built cottages nestled in the Pennine hills. The Peak District National Park around Holme Moss is 4 miles (6.4 km) to the south of the town.

So peaceful to sit and remember the days of old,a series that will never be forgotten in this buitiful setting, a lasting tribute to 2 of the cast in that series compo and clegg, rest in peace and thankyou for your comedy acting days, the church is amazing ,well worth a visit for those that remember it.

Not the easiest place to find but worth the effort! went on Easter Sunday and we all had the ploughman's excellent pork pie, cheese & ham all washed down with apple juice. Will be back & I won't be driving next time

Everything you need, excellent range of sandwiches, pies, sausage rolls etc. all excellent value for money. Staff always very pleasant and friendly. Good choice of fruit and vegetables, also flowers. Hampers at Christmas time excellent value as done to the a lint you wish to spend. Would highly recommend.

Second taproom from Magic Rock Brewing, a Huddersfield based brewery. 8 tap lines and 4 cask, with a wide selection of beers available to drink in or take out. Weekly food offerings with rotating street food suppliers at the weekend (Starting January 2020). Family and dog-friendly.
Excellent service from Jess, Katie and Char. Covid restrictions were upheld politely and responsibly. Toilets sanitised after each use, all staff members had face masks. Great place for our first pint back.
