It requires some effort to go up the tower, but it is worth it ! The view on Markt platz, the Roter Turm and Halle is amazing. If you decide to go up the Hausmanns Türme, you will also be able to discover it fascinating history as there is some English explanation. I would recommend going there if possible during the Christmas market at downfall to appreciate both the city view and then the market lights.

This is a most interesting, enwalled cemetery, good to spend some time there and look at the early modern arrangement of graves and epitaphs.

The art association "Talstrasse" e.V. Is not far from the Burg Giebichenstein in Halle, Germany. Many artistic experiences are put on display for people to enjoy. Pieces of art are hung from the walls during exhibitions, public reading of literature, as well as discussions of politics in the art. The value of contemporary art is shown through what is done in "Talstrasse".
