Walking up is about 15 minutes from the central area. Worth the hill because you get some nice shots from a closer perspective of the Roché.

It's a behemoth that you won't believe until you see it! It leaves you questioning nature and wondering how this happened. We saw it from the land nearby, the mountain, on a boat, and even from a helicopter! Spectacular!

This was my wife and my second visit, but the first time for our 8-year old. We had a beautiful, sunny day, and we're fortunate enough to have arrived at low tide, when all the total pools and statues were fully exposed. We spent the afternoon exploring the pools, posing with the statues, and wandering around on the beach. Supper was terrific. Fresh seafood for us, ham for the kid from a very nice kid's menu. Breakfast the next day, which is included in the price, was also very nice. The room was on the small side, but we'll appointed - not unexpected for a B&B/art gallery type of establishment. Cozy and comfortable! There is plenty of artwork to appreciate here - from the creative statues outside, on rafts, and coming out of the ocean, to beautiful paintings inside the hotel and restaurant. There is also an area dedicated to displaying the owners' work. I would like to thank the owners and staff at the hotel. We travel with a service dog, a fairly large German Shepard, and they were nothing but accommodating. Thank you! ????

After leaving the town of Rimouski towards Gaspé, we saw on the road the sign of the Vieux Moulin, which is a cozy chalet with products made with honey, where you will find from award winning wines to soaps. We really liked to have stopped and known the place, being a great option to buy local and natural products and is a very warm and cozy place where you can taste the wines in a very friendly environment. They also speak English and they accept credit and debit cards.
