Mornington Peninsula is a beautiful part of Victoria and the Frankston Visitor Information Centre has all the information of what is going on. They also sell beautiful knicks & knacks made by locals. If it is the first time to the Peninsula it is well worth visiting and speaking to the wonderful staff.

The place was bustling. Great beach, with great spots for picnics and waters to swim in. It also has a pier to jump off into the waters.

Always a pleasure to visit the Frankston foreshore and have a little challenge walking up Oliver’s Hill for a spectacular view. My pics are of the surrounding area but it’s well worth the walk and looking across the coastline and ocean.

Visited with my family and it was a beautiful day to have a nice family day out with barbecue, a childrens beach as well as the playground. Kept them happy for hours. There is also a restaurant on site for meals or drinks..

Council has temporarily closed a small section of the recently constructed playground at Ballam Park while further works are undertaken as part of the upgrades. We will advise when this area will reopen for families to enjoy.

There is sport on the ovals and long paths to walk or cycle or scooter. Multiple playgrounds, with all the elements that you’d expect. Plenty of wide open spaces for.... well just playing. Add in BBQs, shelters, and public toilets and it has it all. It has so much to offer and the Karringal shops are next door. There is a bus stop out the front as well and the old homestead adjoins it.

One of the best gardens in Melbourne has improved if possible.. now has an excellent playground plus great new toilets and undercover picnic area. The gardens are fabulous especially the various woodlands and the pond. Huge grasses areas for the kids to run around as well. My son especially loved the small trees that he could climb TIP: parking on Foot St but more likely to get park around corner on Williams St.

This is a beautiful green, shady, safe, quiet, sunny, and peaceful park. Parking is never a problem under the old oaks. The lake and reeds is home to many water bird species and the baby ducks are such a drawcard. There have been many groups using the lovely space for such things as Chinese Choir, fitness classes. birthday parties, petanque, exercise, walking during Covid. It is my 'go to' for my daily walk.

What an amazing foreshore this place has become . Frankston has really scrubbed up and shining bright with a stunning family friendly stunning revamp of the foreshore . Even if it’s just getting out of the house for a short walk there’s just something to look at and get the much needed fresh air in the lungs . There’s plenty iof we’ll appointed sitting , disabled access to all areas on the boardwalks . And well designed concrete and grassed areas , you don’t need to get onto the sand to appreciate the fresh sea air with the well groomed beach front precinct . For the kids playgrounds with space for the active little ones . Toilets in the area are well appointed facilities including any disabilities The old Frankston has gone for the most part , even if the brats are still hanging around Frankston and still trying to tag and vandalism the council has put enormous efforts into maintaining the upper hand to keep the entire area clean and safe for all walks of life - something for everyone ! During the day you’ll see all sorts of social groups gathering to fish , picnic or hanging out in the area over a cuppa - Congratulations Frankston City Council an amazing long-standing tribute the the seaside and gateway to the peninsula .
