Fort Pierce Farmers Market

The market is located right next to the waterfront in Fort Pierce. So many food and craft vendors. You can get anything from baked goods, guacamole and salsa, smoothies, crab cakes, breakfast, popcorn, fresh fruits and vegetables. One place we tried for baked goods which I can't remember the name but they had breads and muffins and cookies and their coconut macaroons were to die for. The fresh guacamole was also very delicious. Then on the other side all the craft vendors are set up and there are t-shirts, dresses, purses, jewelry, paintings, you name it. A fun place to check out if you're in the area. It's every Saturday morning.

This beach has the feel of a true hidden gem. Soft light colored sand and the water incredibly clear for the Atlantic. Somehow there are no crowds and we had about 50 yards of gorgeous beach. We had seen a manatee swimming close to the shore here a few months ago

Sailfish Brewing Company

Sailfish Brewing Company opened up in April of 2013 in downtown Ft. Pierce in the 'Edgartown' Neighborhood. We started on a small 1 1/2 barrel brewing system and soon upgraded to our current 3 barrel system. We soon realized that due to the demand and tremendous support from our fans that we would have to expand again! In February of 2017 we opened our new taproom for our 20 barrel system right in the heart of downtown at 130 N Second St just a few blocks from our original facility.

We stopped in as part of the beer trail. The White Marlin Wit was good. They let you try any of the beers and have a large selection. We also tried the pretzel which is big and the Gorgonzola fries. I’d come back for sure. Outside seating is nice and the interior looks great. The service was great. I liked the sours I tried.

Hard to describe the feeling of being able to walk here on the beach au naturel. We love the beauty of the area... and it's other worldly to have such rare moments of freedom when we can feel the breeze, the sun all over. We were also happy to have other nudists nearby; there's a feeling we get of "safety" in numbers that adds to our comfort.

Jetty Park

Reviewed By RFHerbst - Fort Pierce, United States

I have been a snow bird since 2004 and a resident of North Hutchinson Island since 2008. I have watched Fort Pierce grow from a little sketchy sea side town to a great place to live. Every year Fort Pierce grows and improves. People used to be a bit embarrassed to say they lived in Fort Pierce. Now in 2020 I am proud of our town. The Jetty Park has made a great transformation. The new restaurants, the renovated park, the expanded parking, the swing sets, picnic tables, clean family area and beach make it a great place to spend a sunny day.
