There are so many olive oil flavors to choose from! I have my favorite however. The Tuscan Blend Olive Oil is perfect for roasted vegetables, or panfried chicken, or a dipping sauce for baguettes.... Seriously, you can find a flavor to enhance any style of cooking. They have gift sets too. Makes a great birthday or Christmas gift for the cooks in your life.

First and foremost, the Gilmer County Chamber provided a safe environment during COVID, limiting access inside their office and wearing masks. Thank you! They were very helpful and friendly, providing us with numerous maps for hiking, apple houses and wineries. With their help, we had a wonderful time exploring the Northern Georgia Mountains and the Appalachian Mountain area. Thank you for a wonderful visit.

Visited The Cartecay River Brewing Company with my husband and kids aged 21, 19 and 18. We enjoyed a couple of beers outside overlooking the river. Our dog was welcome inside and out. It was a nice and shady spot to visit on a hot summer day after hiking. We also purchased some nachos and guacamole from the food truck on site and they were really good too! Can’t wait to come back when we’re in the area again!

I'm not sure how anyone could give this place a bad review. This was our 2nd time there and not only was EVERYONE helpful and friendly but just made it a fun overall experience! I got some eye cream I LOVE and the body mousse is to die for! I love how it feels and how it makes my skin almost glisten! We love this little store and will be back next year!

We are the oldest operating Applehouse in Ellijay Georgia! Founded by O.S. Aaron in the late 1930's, this family business is still carried on by his great-grandsons Stephen and Joshua Aaron. We provide quality apples, and other agricultural products as well as baked goods, ciders, boiled peanuts and canned goods.

The only fried pie I've ever eaten that I actually liked! Apple pieces were still crisp, and the crust was light and flaky. There was more filling than crust, which is the big thing for me. I also bought a couple jars of jam for only $6 each. There was also honey for $6, and I wish I would have bought some (excellent price!)

Engelheim Vineyards is a "farm winery" in that the entire process from vine stem to glass stem is performed on the estate. Our guests primarily visit the tasting room where they can enjoy our award-winning wine with a tasting, by the glass, or by the bottle. Tastings are only $10 and include up to 5 wines of your selection from our menu that currently has 15 selections. Once you've selected your wine at the bar, you can relax in our large seating area inside OR outside on the deck or below at picnic tables. Our deck is enclosed during the winter hours for your comfort. We have live music every Saturday/Sunday afternoon with local artists in a variety of styles (Americana, country, folk, etc). Nice day trip, large apple barn with free samples of several apple varieties, apple butter, jams, jellies, salsas and cider. You can browse hundreds of items produced on site and even watch them being made. In addition to apples they sell breads, pies, ice cream, popcorn, jams, jellies, salsa, fresh fruit and recipe books to make it all. The view of the surrounding mountains in beautiful fall colors is spectacular. They have a dining area where you can enjoy your purchase and on the day we were there they had a local group playing music and singing for the guests. When you hear the whistle blowing Be Sure and look up around the inside perimeter of the building for a miniture TRAIN that regularly makes it's rounds to the delight of young and old.

We were overwhelmed with the huge selection of antiques and found the prices to be very reasonable! I will be going back tomorrow to purchase items my husband and I have decided upon after seeing them in the store.
