This former colonial resort provides a respite from Southern Vietnam's year-round swelter. The town is full of beautiful French-era buildings and surrounded by pine trees and farms growing exotic vegetables and flowers. It's worth the trip just to escape the heat for a few days.

Located near the Dalat Train Station, the Dalat Train Villas are perfect for a short or long stays in Dalat. The villas are beautifully restored masterpieces of French colonial-era architecture (about 1935). Next to the villas is a 1910 French train car, which has been renovated into a bar/cafe/restaurant.
Located at a walking distance from old train station, this place is one of the must visit for lunch, specially if you are traveling with kids. They have both outdoor seating in the garden where you can enjoy the breeze or you can also choose to sit inside the Train compartment which is kind of different experience. Inside the compartment is collection of different photos of trains from places around the world and also a bar. Right from trying caps of Train pilot to ringing the bellon back side of compartment, kids enjoy everything. And when it comes to food:I must say they have one of the best chicken recipes i have ever tried. I will for sure visit this place again when i visit Dalat next time

I'm pretty sure that the title says it all, the Tea farm is such a dreamland (from my point of view). We took a long ride from the center of Da Lat, it took around 40mins to an hour depends on your speed and how many stops you have. Trust me, just hire a scooter if you can, follow the road that has the pine trees both sides of it and enjoy every little thing on the way to the Tea farm. I won't tell you what to do or where to stop by, just have your own ride and experience to feel what we really felt. ENJOY! :)

With terrific views from the third floor and a ten-foot high dragon in the side garden, this modern pagoda is a favorite.
An intersting place in Dalat for any travellers with unique architecture (from broken ceremic, glassware, etc.), budda and bodhisattva statues, the illustration of hell. Although it is not the biggest pagoda you can find in Vietnam, I found it has a comprehensive atmosphere of a local pagoda. Quite far from the centre of Dalat, you may want to combine the trip to this pagoda and the tea farm.

The boat trip was stunning. Really feels like you are out in the middle of nowhere. They don't cater to vegetarians, unfortunately, however, we thoroughly enjoy the setting and spent a wonderful hour drinking tea at the water's edge.

This enormous market is where the locals shop for vegetables, fruit and wine.
Would highly recommend walking around during the day to see the local produce and simply local life.
