TimothyK. I drove past for a number of years, but I made a point to visit and purchase! The products they have for sale are endless to describe! The staff knows everything about everything and offer you to test right there! This store is a gem and one of a kind. The prices are great! I found out there inventory is always changing so the store isn’t always the same. You could spend hours there! Going back again with my wife tomorrow!

McConnells Mill has many features to explore. The working mill is the featured attraction but there are many like the covered bridge and the trout stream that runs thru the park. The stream is stocked with trout and it is popular place for fly fishing. A PA fishing license is required. Just over the bridge from the mill there is a trail that takes you to a place for rock climbing. The climbing is mostly top-roped or bouldered. Some cliffs have bolt anchors other times trees are slung for anchors. Be careful when hiking along the creek. It is slick and many people have fallen into the creek and drowned.

Fun little pitstop for any Night of the Living Dead fans out there. This is the cemetery they filmed at. Headstones between Blair & Cole was where her fathers grace was, also Cole. The tall gravestone was the one Barbara hugged in fear while her brother was battling the zombie. I’m pretty sure the building has been rebuilt. Easy to get to & find. Nobody will bother you. It’s an active cemetery so please don’t vandalize or graffiti it up with d*cks. There is a NOTLD store in the town if Evans City as well. Stop at Harmony Inn to eat since it’s close by & at the Harmony Society cemetery with the big stone doors.

So much fun at that place. A walk back in time with all of the nostalgic goodies bringing back memories. Candy sold iby the piece or by the pound...and the variety is mindboggling. from chocolates to licorice to candy bars to pop-in-the-mouth hard-tack. Sales Ladies are fabulous and so friendly...we just love going in there even if it is to explore. Ice-cream sold at the basement level in the back. Mazza Wine is sold in a separate room. Three treats for one stop. Will stop there as long as they stay open.
