"Fuente de Puerta Jeréz" is where Seville's heart beats faster! It is so beautiful, so busy, so crowded ... near so many important tourist attractions! It is impossible to miss it! This pedestrian square is located at the site of the old gate of "Jeréz de la Frontera" in the walls of Seville. A fountain, right at its center, is known as "Fuente de Híspalis" or "Fuente de Sevilla" and was was inaugurated in 1929, on the occasion of the iconic Ibero-American Exposition. Spanish artist Manuel Delgado Brackenbury was commisioned for its creation and the sculptures represent the city of Seville and its symbols. Enjoy!
